The Opps To Reveal If Anthony Bowens Joins The Group Next Week

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 show featured The Opps revealing if Anthony Bowens will be officially joinign their group or not next week.

This was setup following a backstage segment with HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata getting ready to leave for some food only to be stopped by Bowens. Bowens demanded to know if he was in the group or not, which HOOK stated he will find out their decision next week.


Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada for AEW International Title Confirmed for AEW Double or Nothing 2026

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured one new match officially announced for the card of Double or Nothing 2026, which takes place on May 24th at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.

This new match announced was an AEW International Championship match of Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada (c).

This new match was initially setup over Don Callis promosing to give Takeshita a shot at Okada’s title as long as he agrees to team up with Okada against The Young Bucks at Dynasty 2026. During tonight’s show, Lexy Nair interviewed Callis and Okada backstage about Okada and Takeshita’s loss at Dynasty. Callis talked about Takeshita’s actions costing them the match and stated he can get Okada out of the promised match against Takeshita since it’s clear he didn’t play by the arrangement they made. Okada responded stating that he wants this match because he’s a champion…unlike Takeshita.

It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.

Mina Shirakawa Accuses Hikaru Shida Being “Timeless” Toni Storm Attacker

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured Mina Shirakawa accusing Hikaru Shida of being the mysyery attacker of “Timeless” Toni Storm.

During the show, Shida and Kris Statlander were seen backstage for an interview about their tag team victory earlier in the show. This led to Shirakawa showing up to interrupt and confronted Shida. Shirakawa stated that she saw a kendo stick in the room where Storm was attacked, which is the same kendo stick she likes to bring along with her. Shirakawa continued stating that she is now a target in her eyes, which led to Shida responding angrily back in Japanese before Statlander separated the two. Shida walked away and Shirakawa told Statlander that she doesn’t trust Shida.

Thursday’s taped AEW Collision Spring BreakThru 2026 show also featured one new match and one new segment announced for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on April 22nd at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon.

The new matches announced were:
