Ronda Rousey Comments on Her Surprise Appearance at AEW Revolution 2026

As noted before, former MMA fighter and WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at this past March’s AEW Revolution 2026 in Los Angeles, California.

DAZN News held a recent interview with Rousey. One of the topics discussed included Rousey’s thoughts about her recent appearance for AEW at their Revolution 2026 event.

“(Marina Shafir) goes out and kills it against Toni Storm and then I get to walk out and instead of being PG-rated WWE, I get to go and flick off all the fans booing me — it’s incredible, an incredible feeling.”

Rousey also gave her thoughts about the process that led to her appearance for the show.

“It just happened to work out that it was her first pay-per-view ever. And I happened to be in town and happen to have a fight coming up.”

AEW Dynasty 2026 Attendance & Early PPV Buys Estimates

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW drew an attendance of 9,136 for their Dynasty 2026 event on April 12th at the Rogers Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Meltzer reported that AEW’s attendance for their event was the second highest ever for a non-WWE wrestling event in the British Columbia province.

In regards to pay-per-view buys, Meltzer reported that early numbers for buys in the United States currently indicates that Dynasty 2026 will have the second highest buys for an AEW event since this past July’s All In event. Meltzer reported that only this past March’s Revolution 2026 generated higher buys numbers.

Meltzer also reported that Dynasty 2026 also generated the second largest buys on HBO MAX, only behind Revolution 2026, based on current buys numbers.

Meltzer also reported that based on the early numbers, Dynasty 2026 is currently estimated to have generated over 143,000 buys which would break the record for most PPV buys for a Dynasty event in Dynasty series history.
