Pat McAfee Mentions AEW While Trolling Fans at WWE World

Friday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured co-host Pat McAfee revealing that he had a “huge surprise” in store for the fans attending that day’s WWE World event in Las Vegas, Nevada. This mystery surprise included a giant countdown clock video screen that had everyone waiting to see what it would be.

When the clock struck zero, the giant screen aired a live feed of McAfee’s show and him mocking all the of the fans in attendance to a chorus of boos. During his insults-filled promo, McAfee called the fans “dumb marks” for thinking there was actually going to be a big surprise like someone from AEW showing up to sign with WWE.

“Surprise nerds! The surprise that you thought was maybe going to be your favorite wrestler of all time, maybe somebody from AEW was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania, and you marks were gonna get zipper burn all over yourself. Instead, Pat McAfee is smarter than all of you dumb marks yet again!

What me and Randy are about to do to your WrestleMania weekend is something you can’t prepare for, you can’t control, you’re going to be crying your ass off as you leave WrestleMania knowing that what was, what you all let happen, is over. Randy Orton is going to run this industry back to what it’s supposed to be out of your dumbass hands.”
