ESPN reporter Andreas Hale announced earlier today on Twitter that he will not be covering WWE’s WrestleMania 42 event this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hale stated that the reason s due to WWE had denied his media credentials and blocked his access for this weekend’s event.
Hale also stated that he nor ESPN were not given an official reason from WWE for why they blocked his access.
“I will not be covering #WrestleMania for ESPN. WWE denied my credentials and blocked my access. Neither I nor ESPN has been told why. You can speculate on the reasons, but if you want answers, ask WWE. Let me know what they tell you.”

Hale is ESPN’s primary reporter for their coverage of WWE. Hale used to give letter grades for reviews of WWE Premium Live Events but stopped after he gave a C to WWE’s Wrestlepalooza event this past September, which was the first WWE PLE to air on ESPN Unlimited as part of WWE and ESPN’s new media rights deal for WWE PLEs in the United States.
Hale also had covered the Janel Grant sex trafficking and abuse lawsuit against former TKO and WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon in recent weeks.
