The legendary John Cena makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. He is the host of this year’s WrestleMania. Cena looks deeply moved by the reception. Cena asks how he’s doing as the host. The Road to WrestleMania has been chaotic and unpredictable. The people have been very vocal. One could say it’s polarizing. Cena says the time to talk is up. The time to deliver is now. We are all here with one thing on our minds: who will step up and deliver tonight? It is such a great honor to welcome the crowd and the people watching around the world to WrestleMania.

Pyrotechnics go off, and The Usos make their way to the ring through the crowd.
The two teams yell at each other as the bell rings. The Usos superkick Logan Paul and Austin Theory out of the ring, leaving a terrified iShowSpeed. LA Knight goes after Speed. Speed hooks a side headlock, but Knight stands up with the headlock applied, taking Speed off his feet. Speed backflips through a back suplex and backflips off the top rope, landing on his feet. Knight clotheslines Speed down and punches Paul off the apron. Speed catches Knight with a scoop slam and celebrates like he won the match. Knight gets up, looking confused. Speed blind tags Paul and gets out of the ring. Knight brings the Maverick in the hard way and bounces him off the top turnbuckle. Knight stomps Paul down, as the crowd shouts, “YEAH” with each stomp. “Main Event” Jey Uso tags in, and he climbs to the second rope for the ten punches. Each punch gets a “YEET.” Jimmy Uso tags in, and the Usos send Paul into the ropes for a double-team back elbow/elbow drop combo. Jimmy picks up a two-count.
Jimmy stands Paul up and chops his chest. Jimmy sends Paul into the ropes, but Paul holds on and boots him back. Austin Theory blind tags in. Jimmy sends Paul over the top rope, and Theory hits him with a rolling thunder dropkick. Theory knocks Jey off the apron and punches away at Jimmy. Paul tags back in. The Vision hits Jimmy with a double-team vertical suplex before getting up and posing to loud boos. Paul stomps Jimmy, and they point at iShowSpeed. Speed pumps himself up as he tags in. Speed goes for a suplex on Jimmy, but Jimmy easily counters it and hits Speed with a suplex. Paul quickly tags back in and punches Knight and Jey off the apron. Paul punches Jimmy in the corner and taunts the crowd. Paul jacks Jimmy in the jaw with a forearm before delivering some body shots. Paul yells at the crowd and charges, but Jimmy knocks him back before hitting a corkscrew moonsault.
Jey gets the crowd clapping to give his brother some energy. Jey and Theory tag in. Jey punches away at Theory before doing some theatrics. Theory ducks a punch and lifts him, but Jey slides off, hits the ropes, and drops him with a Spear! 1… 2… Paul breaks it up. Paul quickly hits a gutwrench suplex on Jey before turning into a superkick from Jimmy. Theory punches Jimmy down and sends Jey’s shoulder into the ring post. Jimmy annihilates Theory with a superkick. Speed gets in, but he hesitates. Speed somehow hits Jimmy with a head-scissor takeover. Speed celebrates before Knight grabs him for a Blunt Force Trauma. Speed pushes Knight into Paul. Theory is furious that Speed accidentally sent Knight into Paul. Theory holds Knight up and tells him to attack. Knight pushes Theory into Speed before hitting Theory with a BFT for the win!
Winner: LA Knight & The Usos via Pinfall.
A furious Logan Paul gets in the ring and yells at iShowSpeed, telling him he cost them a WrestleMania match. Paul punches iShowSpeed in the face with his titanium-loaded fist. Paul says Speed had one job and sends him out of the ring. Paul clears off the Spanish commentary table. Paul calls Speed a moron and punches him onto the table. Paul heads to the top rope, but Jey Uso pulls him down. The Usos hit Paul with a 1D to save iShowSpeed!
Knight checks on iShowSpeed and puts him in the ring. They start to talk to him about something. Knight lays Paul on the commentary table. They’re encouraging a terrified iShowSpeed to go to the top rope and dive onto Paul. iShowSpeed climbs, stands on top of the ring post, does a taunt, and hits Paul with a HUGE Frog Splash through the commentary table!
The Usos and LA Knight celebrate with iShowSpeed in the ring. iShowSpeed is gasping for breath. Jey Uso runs it back, and they celebrate with some YEETing in the ring. Welcome to WrestleMania!

Jacob Fatu comes out for an entrance, accompanied by some fire dancers. They move fire up and down their fire sticks.
As Drew McIntyre moves toward the ring, Jacob Fatu hits him with a suicide dive! The bell rings to start this unsanctioned match. WWE will not be liable for whatever happens. Fatu sends McIntyre into the barricade and ring post before putting him into the timekeeper’s area. Fatu goes under the ring and pulls out two tables, as well as six chairs. Fatu sees McIntyre getting up, so he kicks him in the face and headbutts him. Fatu grabs a toolbox and throws some tools in the ring. McIntyre cowers away from Fatu, remembering the seventeen stitches he got from CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood in 2024. McIntyre quickly kicks Fatu down and slams the back of his head into the steel scaffolding of the ring. McIntyre hits a guillotine catapult into the steel before setting a table up. McIntyre grabs a phone from his brother and does another WrestleMania tweet mid-match!
McIntyre gets Fatu in the ring and grabs a wrench. Fatu clotheslines him down before sending him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Fatu fights back and takes McIntyre down with a clothesline before hitting a senton splash. Fatu headbutts away at him in the corner before hitting a running hip attack. Fatu struts around the ring and gyrates a la Umaga. Fatu ducks a clothesline from McIntyre and hits a pop-up Samoan Drop for a two-count. Fatu grabs a steel chair, but McIntyre leaps toward him with a flying Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre wedges a chair in the corner of the ring. Fatu reverses a whip into the chair, but McIntyre avoids it. McIntyre catapults him headfirst into the ring post before turning him inside out with an inverted German Suplex!
Fatu rolls out of the ring and tries to get to his feet. McIntyre hits the ropes and takes out Fatu with a somersault senton! McIntyre quickly gets Fatu in the ring and starts to count down. 3… 2… 1… Fatu ducks a Claymore Kick. Fatu drives McIntyre headfirst into the chair wedged in the corner! Fatu immediately follows up with a Mighty Moonsault! 1… 2… McIntyre kicks out. McIntyre manages to grab a wrench and hits Fatu in the knee with it. McIntyre hits him on the head with the wrench and digs it into his forehead. McIntyre smiles maniacally. McIntyre sets two chairs up seat-to-seat. McIntyre sends him through the chairs with a falcon arrow for a near fall. McIntyre threatens Dan Engler, a favorite target of his, for not counting fast enough. McIntyre pulls Engler’s belt from his pants and swings it around. Fatu superkicks McIntyre before he can hit him with the belt.
Fatu grabs a steel chair and smashes it on his back. Fatu grabs another chair and hits McIntyre with it. Fatu grabs the belt and whips McIntyre’s back with it six times! McIntyre groans in pain with each whip. Fatu nods and smiles. Fatu grabs the toolbox, but McIntyre stuns him with a Claymore Kick! 1… 2… Fatu barely kicks out. McIntyre is furious with the referee and shoves him. They trade punches from their knees before getting to their feet and going back and forth. Fatu eventually takes McIntyre down with a flurry of headbutts. Fatu grabs a table, which has some Slim Jim sponsorships on it, and sets it up in the ring. Fatu puts McIntyre on the table and headbutts him. Fatu smashes a chair across McIntyre’s front. Fatu climbs the top rope, but McIntyre throws a chair into his head before smashing it off his back. McIntyre then flips Fatu off the top rope through the table at ringside!
McIntyre rolls Fatu into the ring and sizes up the Samoan Werewolf. Fatu fights back with a pair of superkicks. Fatu grabs the toolbox and cracks McIntyre in the skull with it, knocking him onto the table! Fatu immediately hits a Mighty Moonsault for the win!
Winner: Jacob Fatu via Pinfall.

Alexa Bliss comes out with entrance attire that pays tribute to the late Bray Wyatt.
The Bella Twins come out last, but Nikki Bella is on crutches. Nikki says she tried hard to overcome this injury, but she couldn’t get medically cleared. She didn’t want to ruin Brie’s WrestleMania moment, so she called an old friend.
PAIGE’S MUSIC HITS TO A HUGE OVATION!
This is Paige’s first WWE match in eight years. Lash Legend starts against Brie Bella, Alexa Bliss, and Bayley. Legend runs over all of them before avalanching Bella. Nia Jax tags in. The Irresistible Forces hit Bayley with a Samaon Drop/big boot combo. Bliss kicks Jax back and tags Charlotte Flair in. Flair hits a diving crossbody block on Jax and sends her out of the ring. Flair chops Bella before Bayley elbows her in the face. Lyra Valkyria tags in, but Flair goes for a Figure Four. Bella rolls Flair up for a two-count. Bella uses Valkyria as a weapon against Flair. Bella starts hitting Flair and Valkyria with YES Kicks. Bella then points to Paige. Bella hits Valkyria with an enzuigiri. Flair rolls her up, but Bella kicks out. Jax pulls Bella out of the ring and sends her into the barricade. Lash Legend tags in and slams Bella on the apron.
Flair boots Jax off the apron before turning into a bicycle kick from Legend. Legend poses and taunts Bayley. Flair boots Legend and hits a backbreaker. Bliss tags in and hits a flying tornado DDT on Legend. Valkyria sends Bliss into the corner and forearms her. Bayley tags in and hits a running back elbow on Bliss. Valkyria tags back in and hits a running corner clothesline. Bayley is back in. Valkyria hits a backbreaker before Bayley hits a flying elbow drop. 1… 2… Legend pulls Bayley off. Bella tries to tag Paige, but Legend slams her into her corner. Legend puts Bella on the top rope, but Valkyria attacks. Valkyria climbs and attacks Bella. Bliss joins in. Bliss and Valkyria go for a double-team superplex. Legend runs up and powerbombs Valkyria and Bliss down. Bella then takes Legend out with a missile dropkick. Jax tags in, as does Flair. Flair boots Bayley and falls over. Jax headbutts Flair.
Paige, who was forced into an early retirement years ago, tags in for her first WWE match. Paige runs wild on everyone with clotheslines before hitting Bayley with a fisherman’s suplex. The crowd gives her a HUGE ovation. Legend puts Paige on the apron. The cameraman filming this falls over in an amazing WrestleMania moment. Paige fights Legend off. Valkryia rolls through a crossbody from Paige and goes for Nightwing, but Paige slides off and hits a Paige Turner. Bayley breaks it up. Jax hits Bayley with a Samoan Drop before going for a powerbomb on Brie. Valkyria pushes Jax and Bella over the top rope. Legend hits Valkyria with a Lash Extension, but Flair and Paige break it up. Paige and Flair hit Legend with a double-team clothesline over the top rope.
Former teammates and rivals Paige and Flair square off to a nice ovation. They go back and forth with forearm shots before Flair chops her down. Flair goes for a Figure Four, but Paige rolls her up for a two-count. Flair quickly hits Natural Selection and tags Bliss in. Nikki Bella pulls Flair out of the ring and smashes her with her crutch. Flair yells, “Oh shit!” Paige gets her knees up to counter Twisted Bliss. Paige hits the RamPaige for the win!
Winner: Brie Bella & Paige via Pinfall to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Paige immediately becomes emotional upon being officially back home. The Bella Twins embrace her. They all pose in the ring as fireworks go off.

The Wonder Years are there to sing Becky Lynch’s theme song. The lead singer was late getting to the microphone when his vocal track started.
WE Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee skips down to the ring with several young girls dressed like her.
This is AJ Lee’s first WrestleMania match in eleven years. Lynch kicks her, but Lee quickly reverses a whip and hits an arm drag. Lynch fights up and sends her into the ropes for a dropkick, but Lee holds the ropes. Lee shows her up by sitting on the ropes and rolling her eyes. Lynch angrily charges, but Lee sends her out of the ring. Lee goes for a crossbody block to the floor, but Lynch catches her and hits a fallaway slam into the LED barricade. Lynch gets Lee in the ring, goes to the top rope, and hits a flying leg drop for a two-count. Lynch avalanches her in the corner and hits a Bexploder for a two-count. Lynch grabs Lee’s hair and slams her on the mat before the referee admonishes her. Lynch has had many problems with Jessika Carr over the last few months. Lynch takes the top turnbuckle pad off, but Carr stops her. Lynch yells at her, and Carr says she’s insane. Lee rolls Lynch up for a two-count.
Lynch and Lee throw fists in the center of the ring, with Lee coming out on top. Lee knees her back and goes for a tornado DDT, but Lynch throws her off. Lee elbows her in the jaw and clotheslines her. Lee avalanches her against the ropes, but Lynch quickly fights back. Lee sweeps her feet and goes to the top rope for a missile dropkick. Lee picks up a two-count. Lee counters a Black Widow, but Lee comes back with Sliced Bread. Lee goes for a Shining Wizard, but Lynch counters with a powerbomb for a near fall. Lee has a bruise on her thigh. Lynch goes for a Manhandle Slam, but Lee counters with a wheelbarrow arm drag. Lee goes for a Black Widow, but Lynch slams her into the turnbuckles before hitting a Manhandle Slam! 1… 2… Lee kicks out! Lynch cannot believe it.
Lynch gets Lee in the corner and stomps her down. The referee admonishes her, so Lynch gets in her face. Carr shouts back at her. Lynch shoves her, so Carr shoves her back! Lynch is furious and charges her, but Carr ducks. Lee hits Lynch with a Manhandle Slam! 1… 2… Lynch kicks out of her own move! Lynch and Lee trade punches from their knees before getting to their feet. Lynch goes for a Manhandle Slam, but Lee counters into the Black Widow! Lynch screams in pain and reaches for the ropes. Lynch grabs Lee’s hair and pulls her down. Lynch then sneakily pulls the turnbuckle pad off. Lynch pulls Carr in front of her as Lee goes for an avalanche. Lynch smashes Lee’s face off the exposed turnbuckle and hits the Manhandle Slam! The referee didn’t see it! 1… 2… 3!
Winner: Becky Lynch via Pinfall to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Seth Rollins comes out in a jacket that is pouring smoke, wearing contacts that completely black out his eyes. They allude to this as a phoenix rising from the ashes.
Before the bell rings, Gunther hits him with a massive dropkick, followed by a swinging back suplex. Gunther crushes him with a Powerbomb. Rollins rolls out of the ring, holding his head as Gunther poses in the ring. Gunther goes outside to grab him, but Rollins digs his fingers in his eyes and throws him over the commentary table. Rollins punches away at Gunther and throws him over the table. Rollins throws some chairs at Gunther and looks fired up.
Gunther regroups at ringside, and Rollins gives him double birds. They get in the ring, and the bell rings to officially start the match. They trade punches before Gunther chops him. They knock each other into the ropes with punches and boots before Gunther hits a big boot. Gunther goes for a Sleeper Hold, the same move that ended the careers of Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles. Rollins fights it and flips through a suplex attempt. Rollins takes Gunther down before holding his arms and stomping his chest. Gunther kicks him off and hits a stiff lariat.
Gunther slowly gets up and grabs Rollins, hitting an uppercut, followed by a chop. Gunther kicks Rollins in the back and rips at his face. Gunther elbows him in the forehead and continues to strike him. Rollins gets in his face, so Gunther chops him back down and stands on him. Rollins gets up on the apron. Gunther attacks him and knocks him down. Gunther climbs to the second rope and pulls Rollins up from the apron. Gunther goes for a superplex, but Rollins slides through it and catches the Ring General with a Buckle Bomb! Gunther avoids a Stomp and hits a release German Suplex. Rollins avoids him charging and hits a German Suplex. Gunther pops up and clotheslines him, so Rollins gets to his feet and hits a big clothesline.
They take a few moments to recover before trading some strikes. They trade kicks and headbutts. Gunther lights him up with a chop. Rollins responds with a chop, but Gunther’s chops are too powerful. Gunther talks trash, so Rollins chops back at him. The referee backs Rollins up, so Gunther immediately grabs him for a Powerbomb! 1… 2… Rollins kicks out.
Both men are down. Gunther pulls himself up to his feet, pulls Rollins up, and hits a short-arm lariat. Gunther poses before hitting the ropes for another stiff lariat. Gunther hits the ropes for another clothesline, but Rollins flips through it and tries for a Pedigree. Gunther counters out, but Rollins takes him down with a knee. Rollins goes for a Pedigree, but Gunther hits a back body drop into a pin for a two-count. Rollins manages to hit the Pedigree and follows up with a Stomp! 1… 2… Gunther kicks out! The crowd cannot believe it. The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Rollins gets to his feet and heads to the top rope. Gunther avoids a diving Stomp, but Rollins comes back with an O’Connor Roll. Gunther kicks out at two and applies a Sleeper Hold! Gunther has him in the center of the ring! Rollins manages to fight through the hold and gets out. Rollins hits a discus forearm to the jaw, rocking Gunther. Rollins hits a second one. Rollins goes for a third, but Gunther ANNIHILATES him with a lariat! Gunther goes to the top rope, but Rollins scales the ropes for a superplex before rolling into a falcon arrow! 1… 2… Gunther kicks out! Rollins then applies the Sleeper Hold to Gunther! Gunther appears to be fading away, but he gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.
Gunther rolls out of the ring to recover. Rollins hits him with a pair of suicide dives. Rollins goes for a third one, but Gunther catches him. Gunther crushes him with a vicious Powerbomb against the apron before hitting one on the EDGE of the commentary table! Gunther pulls him onto the table for a Powerbomb, but Rollins counters into a Pedigree! Rollins goes to the other table and leaps to hit Gunther with a Stomp!
All of a sudden, Bron Breakker charges down to the ringside area and CRUSHES Rollins with a Spear! Breakker rolls Rollins back into the ring. Rollins furiously looks at Breakker. Breakker smirks as he walks off. The referee was checking on Gunther as this all happened. Gunther gets in the ring and grabs Rollins for the Sleeper Hold! Gunther wraps his legs around Rollins, trapping him. Rollins fades away, and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Gunther via Referee Stoppage.
Gunther celebrates as we see replays of what happened. Bron Breakker is all the way up the ramp when he sees Rollins poised at ringside. Breakker runs at breakneck speed down the ramp and hits him with a Spear! Breakker tells Rollins he should have put him down when he had the chance. Waiting at the top of the ramp for Breakker is Paul Heyman. They embrace, and Heyman raises Breakker’s arm in victory.

Liv Morgan comes out with dancers as she lip-syncs her new theme song, “Trouble.”
Liv Morgan is sporting two black eyes and a nasty lump on her forehead from a nasty attack two weeks ago on Raw.
The bell rings, and Stephanie Vaquer quickly takes her down. They roll around the match, punching each other. Morgan pushes her off and rolls out of the ring. Vaquer grabs her at ringside and drives her into the LED barricade. Vaquer gets her in the ring and avalanches her in the corner before hitting a running meteora. Vaquer heads to the top rope, but Morgan attacks her from behind. Morgan springboards off the ropes for a sunset flip powerbomb to pick up a two-count. Morgan stomps La Primera and clubs the back. Morgan connects with the Three Amigos before gyrating a la Eddie Guerrero/”Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. Morgan kicks Vaquer in the head and goes to the top rope. Morgan goes for a Frog Splash, but Vaquer gets the knees up.

Vaquer goes for the SVB, but Morgan gets out and hits a backstabber. Morgan gets up and slaps Vaquer in the face several times. Morgan grabs her by the hair and signals for the Devil’s Kiss! Vaquer rolls her up for a two-count. Vaquer ducks an enzuigiri and hits the SVB. 1… 2… Morgan kicks out.
Morgan catches her with a Codebreaker. Morgan charges her, but Vaquer rolls under her and hits Morgan with Ob-Liv-ion! 1… 2… Morgan kicks out. Roxanne Perez runs down to distract the referee. Raquel Rodriguez takes advantage of the distraction to attack Vaquer. Morgan hits Ob-Liv-ion! 1… 2… Vaquer kicks out. Morgan is stunned.
Morgan charges her, but Vaquer kicks her down. Vaquer knocks Perez and Rodriguez off the apron. Morgan charges, but Vaquer sidesteps her, sending Morgan into Rodriguez through the ropes. Vaquer hits a springboard crossbody onto Perez and Rodriguez to the floor! Morgan quickly drives Vaquer into the steel steps. Morgan goes to the top rope and hits a diving Codebreaker! Morgan hits the Ob-Liv-ion! 1… 2… 3!

Bianca Belair, who hasn’t competed since last year’s WrestleMania, makes her way to the ring. The E-S-T of WWE comes out to a nice reception. The crowd chants for her, and Belair beams with pride. Belair says you can’t spell WrestleMania without E-S-T. It’s been a long time since she’s been out here, but she wants to say from the bottom of her heart a thank you for all the support. Belair has missed them. You can’t have WrestleMania without a few surprises. Belair says she needs to add one more to the attendance list… Belair opens her ring robe to reveal a very prominent pregnancy bump!
John Cena embraces her as the crowd gives her a nice ovation. Belair says the E-S-T is having a bay-bay. Cena thanks her for allowing their family to share this moment with hers. Belair is emotional. Cena says we need to include the youngest superstar in history. It’s now 50,817 in attendance. Next up is your Main Event!

Pat McAfee makes his entrance to boos from the crowd. McAfee flips off a bunch of people and shouts a few f-words.
“The Viper” Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. McAfee poses alongside him.
Cody Rhodes’ entrance features many of the different outfits he has worn throughout his career, from the green trunks as a rookie to the masked Undashing psychopath to Stardust to the American Nightmare. Rhodes embraces WWE President Nick Khan’s children. Khan, who never looks like he enjoys a single moment of his life, nods at the champion.
Rhodes then goes to his wife, Brandi, and embraces his daughter, Liberty.
As Alicia Taylor goes to make the introductions, McAfee takes the microphone. McAfee tells the “disgusting pigs” to listen up. McAfee says Randy Orton is a depiction of perfection in professional wrestling. He’ll show all the fat ass bums what greatness looks like as he becomes a 15-time World Champion. This man will save the business tonight: Randy Orton.
As Charles Robinson holds up the Undisputed WWE Championship, McAfee hits Rhodes in the back of the head. Orton and McAfee double-team the champion. Rhodes kicks McAfee away and sends Orton’s shoulder into the ring post. Rhodes then hits McAfee with the Cross Rhodes! Rhodes kicks McAfee out of the ring and clears off the commentary table. Rhodes puts McAfee on the table and punches away at him.
Jelly Roll appears at ringside and stands on the Spanish commentary table! Jelly Roll leaps and hits McAfee with a diving elbow drop through the table! Jelly Roll tells Rhodes to give the people the fight they wanted to see. A stretcher is brought to the ringside to retrieve the broken McAfee.
Michael Cole brings up a rumor that Randy Orton has a back injury and may not be at 100% for this match. The crowd chants, “You deserve it” as McAfee is wheeled away on the stretcher. McAfee holds his arm up and gives a thumbs-up before transitioning to a middle finger.
Randy Orton takes his time getting into the ring. When he does, the bell rings to start the WrestleMania Saturday Main Event. A light “Randy” chant picks up. They stare at each other before locking up. They tussle around before giving a clean break. They lock up again, and Orton applies a side headlock. The Viper cinches it in, but Rhodes whips him off. Orton easily shoulder tackles him and lets the champion get to his feet. They lock up again, and Rhodes wrenches the left arm. Orton tries to block an overhead wristlock. Rhodes transitions to a side headlock. Orton whips him off, drops down, and shoulder tackles him again. Orton hits an uppercut before wrenching Rhodes’ arm. Orton bounces Rhodes off the top turnbuckle before hitting an uppercut. Rhodes stumbles to the next corner. Orton sends him to the opposite corner, but Rhodes slingshots over him, slides through the legs, and hits a dropdown uppercut. Rhodes then hits Orton with a snap powerslam. Rhodes goes for a Cody Cutter, but Orton blocks it and hits a headlock backbreaker. Orton holds his back in pain.
Orton quickly pokes Rhodes in the eyes and hits a snapmare, followed by a rear chinlock. Rhodes manages to fight up and hits a back suplex. Orton is furious and swings at him before he rolls out of the ring to recover. Orton’s back is in a lot of pain. Orton attacks Rhodes as he tries to get him at ringside. Orton puts Rhodes in the ring. As Orton gets in the ring, Rhodes kicks the ring rope into his groin. Rhodes takes Orton down and applies a single-leg crab. Rhodes is putting pressure on Orton’s injured back. Rhodes releases the hold and attacks the back. Rhodes pushes Orton into the ropes and forearms the lower back. Rhodes knocks Orton into the corner and punches him. Rhodes wrenches the arm and whips him hard into the opposite corner. Orton drops down and rolls out of the ring to recover again. Rhodes attacks Orton from behind and throws him back into the ring. Rhodes covers for a one-count. Rhodes applies a seated bear hug. Orton fights up and elbows out before sending Rhodes to the corner. Rhodes slings over Orton as he charges and rolls him up for a two-count. Rhodes forearms Orton in the back, and Orton is in a lot of pain. Rhodes hits a snap vertical suplex for a two-count. Orton calls the referee over and whispers to him.
Rhodes heads to the top rope and stands, but Orton gets to his feet and crotches him. Orton climbs to the second rope and attacks Rhodes. Orton then climbs to the top rope and hits a massive superplex. Orton’s back immediately seizes up upon impact. Orton manages to get to his feet and hits a pair of clotheslines. Orton ducks a clothesline and hits Rhodes with a snap powerslam. Orton slings him into the ropes and hits his trademark draping DDT. Orton begins stalking his prey and slowly pounds the mat. Orton goes for an RKO, but Rhodes pushes him off. Rhodes sends Orton out of the ring and goes for a suicide dive, but Orton punches him in the face. Orton then hits Rhodes with a back suplex onto the commentary table. Orton saunters around the ringside area and casually takes a sip of water. Orton grabs him, but Rhodes shoves him into the ring post. The crowd is booing Rhodes. Rhodes is limping.
Orton is in the ring and is bleeding from the forehead. Rhodes gets in the ring and attacks the wound. Rhodes stomps away at the bleeding Viper. Rhodes attacks the wound and hits a Disaster Kick. Rhodes wipes the blood of Orton on his chest. Rhodes continues to attack the injured Orton and slings him onto the apron. Orton collapses on the apron. Rhodes taunts the crowd, and they boo. Rhodes then hits Orton with a draping DDT. Rhodes then drops down and mocks Orton’s RKO taunt. Rhodes goes for an RKO, but Orton sidesteps him. Orton hits Rhodes with the Cross Rhodes for a near fall! The referee hands Orton a towel, and he wipes his blood off his face. Orton drops down and goes for an RKO, but Rhodes counters with a backslide pin for a two-count. Rhodes immediately follows up with an RKO! 1… 2… Orton kicks out of his move.
Orton rolls out of the ring to recover. Rhodes looks at his injured opponent and bounces him off the commentary table. Rhodes then gives Orton a back suplex on the table, further injuring his compromised back. Rhodes rolls Orton into the ring and sizes him up for a Cross Rhodes. Orton hits an RKO from out of nowhere! 1… 2… Rhodes kicks out!
Both men are trying to get their bearings straight. They slowly get up and start trading punches. Orton kicks him in the midsection, and Rhodes punches him back. Orton responds with some punches before Rhodes punches him in the eye. Orton is blinded. Orton bumps into the referee and gives him an RKO out of pure instinct! Orton is shocked. Rhodes checks on his friend, Charles Robinson. Orton goes for a low blow, but Rhodes blocks it. Rhodes kicks Orton in the groin. Rhodes is bleeding from the head now. Rhodes goes for a Cody Cutter, but Orton hits him with an RKO out of mid-air!
Pat McAfee, wearing a neck brace and wearing a referee’s shirt, runs down. McAfee counts: 1… 2… Rhodes kicks out. The crowd chants, “Ref, you suck.” Orton smiles at McAfee, but he looks a bit maniacal. Orton then drops McAfee with an RKO! Rhodes hits Orton with Cross Rhodes! 1… 2… 3!
Winner: Cody Rhodes via Pinfall to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Cody Rhodes is celebrating with the title when Randy Orton pulls it away from him and hits him in the head with it! Orton then thinks about it, tosses the belt aside, and gives a bleeding Rhodes a Punt Kick! Orton, who is also bleeding from the forehead, picks up the Undisputed WWE Championship and stands over Rhodes as the show comes to an end.
