Near the end of the match, Rhodes poked Orton in the eye after acting heelish for most of it leading to blinded Orton hitting an RKO to the referee thinking it was Rhodes. After some more action, McAfee ran out wearing a neck brace and a WWE official shirt after Orton hit Rhodes with an RKO. McAfee went for the count but Rhodes kicked out at two leading to Orton smirking. Orton then proceeded to lay out McAfee with an RKO that caused enough of a distraction for Rhodes to hit a Cross Rhodes to Orton for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Rhodes posed in the ring with his title leading to Orton snatching it away from him and struck Rhodes in the head with it. Orton then followed it with a punt kick to Rhodes’ head laying him out as the show went to a close.
