WWE SmackDown has been airing as a weekly three-hour show on Friday nights on USA Network since this past January, with two exceptions during the 2026 Winter Olympics. WWE’s SmackDown had also ran as a three-hour weekly show from January of 2025 to June of 2025.
BodySlam+ reported that their sources stated that the current plans is for SmackDown to move back to a weekly two-hour runtime format “in a few weeks.”
It was reported that the decision to revert SmackDown back as a weekly two-hour show was made by USA Network and not WWE.
USA Network is currently expected to be airing the next season of Braun Strowman’s Everything on the Menu series at 10PM EST on Fridays starting this early summer.
