Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker

Before the match begins, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker go face-to-face. The referee tries to keep them apart.

The bell rings, and Breakker charges, but Rollins leapfrogs him. Rollins boots him in the face, knocking him out of the ring. Rollins connects with a suicide dive and punches him up the aisleway. Rollins bounces him off the metal barricades and gets him back in the ring. Rollins immediately clotheslines him over the top rope and hits another suicide dive, driving Breakker into the commentary table. Rollins punches away at Breakker. The ringside area near the commentary table is wider tonight. Breakker quickly elbows Rollins in the midsection and punches him back. Breakker sends Rollins over the barricade, but Rollins quickly pops up and takes him down with a dive.

Rollins gets him in the ring and goes to the top rope for a dive, but Breakker grabs him. Breakker then gives him an overhead belly-to-belly suplex over the top rope to the floor. Breakker takes a few moments to recover before going outside to punch Rollins in the head, knocking him to the floor. The crowd chants, “Let’s go, Rollins.” Breakker bounces Rollins off the apron. Rollins fires back with some chops, but Breakker explosively takes him down on the floor and punches away at The Visionary. Breakker rolls Rollins back into the ring and shoulders him in the midsection several times. Breakker gets in the referee’s face as he counts. Breakker applies a front facelock, punches Rollins in the ribs, and hits a vertical suplex for a one-count. Rollins fights back with some forearms to the face, but Breakker easily ducks one and hits a German Suplex. Breakker saunters around a bit before hitting another German Suplex. Breakker checks his left ear, which may be cut or irritated. Breakker applies a tight rear chin lock to Rollins, but Rollins soon fights out. Rollins gets to his feet and hits a jawbreaker. Rollins chops Breakker’s chest several times. Breakker reverses a whip and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a two-count.

Breakker presses Rollins into the mat, digs his knee into his lower back, and pulls on his hair. Breakker says Rollins was supposed to give him a chance, but he made it all about himself. Breakker says Rollins is a “self-centered piece of trash.” Breakker applies another rear chin lock. Rollins quickly fights up and hits a back suplex. Rollins is getting fired up and challenges Breakker. Rollins punches Breakker against the ropes before sending him into the ropes with a whip. Breakker hits the ropes hard and hits a WILD lightning-quick clothesline for a near fall. Replays show the outrageous speed of Bron Breakker.

Breakker grabs a waistlock on Rollins and hits a pair of release German Suplexes. Breakker sizes Rollins up as he slowly gets up before hitting a third release German Suplex. 1… 2… Rollins kicks out. Breakker isn’t sweating Rollins as he smothers him and elbows him in the face. Breakker puts Rollins in the corner and lifts him onto the top rope. Breakker climbs to the second rope, but Rollins elbows him in the quadriceps before biting him. Breakker is knocked back, but he scales the ropes for a Breakkensteiner for a near fall. That was a scary fall for Breakker.

Paul Heyman shouts advice to Breakker. Breakker knees Rollins in the midsection and dumps him over the top rope. Breakker saunters around the ring as the crowd boos. Breakker slides out of the ring on the opposite side and starts to run. Breakker leaps, but Rollins superkicks him out of mid-air! The referee is counting them both out. 1… 2… 3… 4… 5… 6… 7… Rollins is stirring… 8… Breakker moves… 9… both men barely make it back into the ring. Rollins hits a running forearm in the corner and hooks his head. Rollins goes for a short-arm clothesline, but Breakker stays standing. Rollins tries several times before forearming him in the head a few times. Rollins hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and runs Breakker over with a lariat for a two-count. Rollins quickly backs up for a Stomp, but Breakker lifts for a moment. Rollins changes direction with a running knee to the head to pick up a near fall. Heyman puts his hands over his mouth, realizing how close Breakker was to eating a Stomp.

The crowd is into this match. Rollins grabs both of Breakker’s hands and starts stomping his face. Rollins backs up, blows Heyman a kiss, and goes for a Stomp, but Breakker rolls over and grabs his foot. Breakker grabs Rollins by the throat and hits a military press into a gutbuster. Breakker backs up and charges for a Spear, but Rollins knees him in the face. Rollins hits the ropes and attempts to flip through a clothesline, but they collapse to the mat. Rollins lands on his head and grabs his neck. Breakker saves the spot with a standing moonsault for a near fall!

Breakker and Rollins go to the corner as they try to collect themselves from the botch. Breakker starts doing the ten punches, but Rollins lifts him before running across the ring for a Buckle Bomb. Rollins hits the ropes, but Breakker intercepts him with a stiff clothesline. Both men are down. The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Rollins rolls out of the ring to recover. Breakker walks down the ring steps. Rollins is gasping for air, but Breakker looks cool and collected. Breakker bounces Rollins off the commentary table and goes to the apron. Breakker then hits a leaping clothesline over the commentary table! Heyman intensely watches on. 1… 2… 3… 4… Breakker grabs Rollins… 5… 6… 7… Breakker slings Rollins into the ring and heads to the top rope. Breakker goes to the top rope, but Rollins scales the ropes for a superplex before rolling over. Breakker counters and hits Rollins with a falcon arrow for a near fall! Heyman pounds the mat in frustration.

The crowd is singing Rollins’ theme song. Breakker pushes Rollins down a few times, thinking he has him where he wants him. Breakker hits some shoulder thrusts in the corner before putting Rollins on the top rope. Breakker sets up for a superplex, but Rollins fights back with some punches. Rollins rakes Breakker’s back, knocking him down. Breakker quickly hits his second Breakkensteiner of the match. Breakker puts him back on the top rope for a third Breakkensteiner, but Rollins (sort of) lands on his feet. Rollins gets fired up and kicks Breakker in the midsection before hitting him in the jaw. Breakker grabs him by the throat, but Rollins knocks his hand away and hits a Pedigree! Rollins follows up with a Stomp!

Paul Heyman jumps onto the apron and is doing whatever he can to challenge Rollins. Rollins smirks and rolls out of the ring before grabbing a chair from under the ring. Austin Theory and Logan Paul run out, but Rollins attacks them with the chair. Rollins hits Theory with a Stomp on the floor. Paul cowardly backs away from Rollins. Rollins chases him up the aisleway.

Rollins runs back into the ring, but Breakker hits him with a Spear as he gets in. 1… 2… Rollins kicks out! Breakker and Heyman are in disbelief. Rollins holds his ribs in pain. The crowd is loudly singing Rollins’ theme song again. Breakker is irate and pulls his straps down. Breakker hits the ropes at high speed, but Rollins counters a Spear with a Pedigree! Rollins holds his ribs in pain as he climbs to the second rope. Rollins goes for an Avalanche Stomp, but Breakker hits a Spear out of mid-air! Breakker hits the ropes hard and hits a vicious Spear for the win!

Winner: Bron Breakker via Pinfall.

Bron Breakker stands tall in the ring with Paul Heyman behind him. Michael Cole says this is the biggest win of Bron Breakker’s career.

Cathy Kelley is backstage with WWE United States Champion Trick Williams and Lil Yachty. Williams tells Zayn to quit lying about feeling good. Zayn talks about his experience, but Williams is the puppetmaster. Williams is running the game. Zayn is going to see that.

This is a rematch from WrestleMania 42. Trick Williams defeated Sami Zayn at the event to win the WWE United States Championship.

Lil Yachty has a kendo stick with him. Trick Williams shoves Sami Zayn down before the match begins. Zayn is furious.

The bell rings, and they lock up. Williams backs him into the corner, but Zayn turns him around and pushes against his face. Zayn chops away at Williams before backing up. Zayn ducks a lock-up and applies a side headlock. Williams whips him off. Zayn ducks a clothesline, but Williams catches him on the rebound with a leaping clothesline. Williams chops Zayn in the corner before hitting a backhand across his face! Williams stomps away at Zayn as the crowd chants, “Whoop that Trick!” Williams sends Zayn into the ropes, but Zayn holds on and pulls himself out of the ring to recover. Williams gets out of the ring and hits a running attack on Zayn from behind. Williams grabs Zayn, but Zayn reverses a whip into the steel ring steps. Zayn picks the top half of the steps up, but Lil Yachty threatens him with the kendo stick. Zayn angrily backs him away.

Williams gets in the ring, so Zayn follows him in and punches away at him. The crowd boos, and Zayn cannot understand why. Zayn grabs Williams and hits a forearm to the head. Zayn sends Williams into the ropes and hits a clothesline for a two-count. Zayn tries to cover a few more times, but gets the same result. The crowd has a dueling chant going on. Zayn punches away at Williams before shouting at Lil Yachty. Williams quickly hits Zayn and hits a leaping neckbreaker. Williams punches away at Zayn before sending him into the ropes for a spin kick. Williams quickly connects with a scoop slam before grabbing the arm. Williams tries to sling him up for a kick, but Zayn fights back. Williams quickly boots Zayn in the face. Zayn tries to fight back with a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Williams gets out and hits a Book End for a near fall.

Williams puts Zayn on the top rope. Zayn quickly starts to club away at him and hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a two-count. The crowd chants that Zayn sucks. Zayn tries to get them on his side and charges for a Helluva Kick, but Williams avoids it. Zayn sidesteps a Cyclone Boot and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Williams reverses a whip, but Zayn does a springboard leapfrog. Zayn quickly drops to the mat and grabs his knee in pain. Williams doesn’t care and grabs him, so Zayn tries for an inside cradle to pick up a near fall. Lil Yachty gets on the apron, so the referee keeps him back. Zayn grabs Lil Yachty’s kendo stick and smashes Williams in the head with it! Zayn covers: 1… 2… Williams barely kicks out!

Zayn looks frustrated with the crowd and how he couldn’t put Williams away. Zayn stomps away at Williams’ head before the referee backs him up. Zayn keeps coming back with more stomps, upsetting the referee. Zayn sizes Williams up before Lil Yachty hits him with the kendo stick! The referee was checking on Williams and didn’t see the weapon shot. Williams hits a Cyclone Boot for a near fall!

The crowd is loudly chanting for Williams. Williams holds his head in pain as Zayn pulls him out of the ring. Zayn quickly punches Lil Yachty down before beating him with the kendo stick. Williams quickly punches Zayn onto the lower half of the steel steps and goes for a Book End, but Zayn fights it. Zayn hits a DDT on the steps and rolls Williams back into the ring. Zayn sees Lil Yachty getting up, so he hits the rap star with a Helluva Kick against the barricade! Zayn gets in the ring and goes for a Helluva Kick, but Williams sidesteps him. Williams quickly hits the Trick Shot for the win!

Winner: Trick Williams via Pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Video: A pretty amazing 1960’s-themed parody of an action video plays, recapping everything that led to this feud with Danhausen, The Miz, and Kit Wilson.


The Miz & Kit Wilson vs. Danhausen & Minihausen

A box is brought into the arena. The crowd is excited to see Danhausen drive into the arena in the Danhausen-mobile. The box says, “Cloning Machine.” Danhausen has trouble opening the door, but he’s finally successful. A miniature Danhausen exits the box. Danhausen isn’t happy, but he shrugs and drives him down to the ring.

There are some boos for Minihausen. Kit Wilson quickly kicks Minihausen down, then gyrates his hips. Minihausen flips to his feet, rolls under a strike, and kicks away at Wilson before hitting a springboard flying headbutt. Minihausen hits a head-scissor into a DDT. The Miz tags in, but Minihausen sends him out of the ring with a head-scissor takeover. Wilson runs in, but Minihausen scales the ropes, walks on the top rope, kicks Miz down, and goes for a hurricanrana on Wilson. Wilson blocks it, but Minihausen soon hits a hurricanrana out of the ring. Minihausen stands on Danhausen’s shoulders and dives onto Miz and Wilson at the ringside area!

Danhausen puts Wilson in the ring and gets Minihausen in there. Miz drives Danhausen into the ring post. Miz then punches Minihausen down. Wilson bounces Minihausen in the corner before tagging the Miz in. Wilson throws Minihausen into the Miz. Miz military presses Minihausen over his head and hits a powerslam. The Miz flexes and taunts the crowd. Wilson tags in, and Miz throws Minihausen to him. They hit Minihausen with a double-team suplex before Miz backs away. Wilson gyrates as he holds Minihausen up before dropping him down for a two-count. Wilson covers Minihausen again for a two-count. Wilson continues to take it to Minihausen before he makes a mistake. Minihausen then comes off the top rope with a moonsault.

Danhausen and Miz tag in. Danhausen hits an inverted atomic drop before taking Wilson down. Danhuasen hits Miz and Wilson with running clotheslines in the corner before becoming exhausted. Danhuasen then catches his breath and hits Miz with a running clothesline. Danhausen sends Wilson into Miz before hitting him with a German Suplex. Danhausen catches Miz with a DDT before saying he is cursed. Wilson intercepts a kick meant for the Miz. Miz rolls Danhausen up for a two-count. Danhausen avoids Miz’s patented corner clothesline. Minihausen blind tags in and takes Miz down before sending Wilson out of the ring with a hurricanrana. Minihausen hits them with a scary suicide dive. Wilson quickly retreats up the aisleway as Minihausen chases him. Wilson kicks him down and throws him into the Cloning Machine. The machine turns on, and a bunch of Minihausens emerges! They beat Wilson down to the ring. The original Minihausen lifts Wilson and does an airplane spin before hitting a Wastleand, Wade Barrett’s finisher! Minihausen tries to curse Wilson, but Wilson uses his mirror to bounce the curse back at Minihausen. Miz hits Minihausen with a Skull Crushing Finale. 1… 2… Danhausen breaks it up.

Danhausen tags in, and he soon hits Miz with a Lou Thesz Press. Danhausen clotheslines Miz and Wilson over the top rope. Danhausen high-fives some Minihausens standing on the commentary table. Miz grabs a fire extinguisher and says Danhausen is cursed. The extinguisher doesn’t work, and Miz winds up spraying himself and Wilson. Minihsausen comes off the top rope with a dive onto Wilson at ringside. Danhausen finishes Miz off with a pump kick for the win.

Winner: Danhausen & Minihausen via Pinfall.

IYO SKY vs. Asuka

There are “We want Kairi” chants as the match begins. They lock up, and Asuka quickly slings her down. They stay locked up, and Sky backs up the ropes to try to sling Asuka down. They’re still locked up before backing against the ropes. Sky gives a clean break, so Asuka shoves her. Asuka backs her against the ropes and backs up. Asuka applies a side headlock as a louder “We want Kairi” chant fires up. Sky applies a side headlock, but Asuka whips her off. Asuka absorbs a shoulder tackle, and they start shoving each other. Sky hits the ropes, does some handsprings, and sweeps her feet. Sky then hits a basement dropkick before getting the crowd going. Sky stomps away at Asuka, but Asuka fights back. Sky flips to her feet as Asuka tries to throw her down. Asuka hits a drop toehold into the corner before hitting a slingshot double knee to the chest for a two-count.

Asuka rolls to the apron to recover. Sky grabs Asuka, but Asuka fights back. Sky blocks a shot into the top turnbuckle and knocks her to the floor. Sky sets up for an Asai Moonsault, but Asuka trips her. Sky holds the ropes to keep herself from falling to the floor, so Asuka slings her head off the ring post. Asuka grabs Sky at ringside and bounces her off the barricade. A “Let’s go, IYO” chant picks up. Asuka pulls Sky over the apron and kicks her in the face several times. Asuka gets in the ring and gets in the referee’s face. Asuka then stretches her near the ropes. Asuka continues to stretch Sky before kicking away at her head. Sky absorbs some of the blows and fights back at Asuka. Sky hits the ropes, but Asuka hits a vicious kick to take her down for a near fall. Asuka wrenches her arm, but Sky fights back and punches her. Asuka pulls her down by the hair and stands over her, throwing some wild punches. Asuka starts to taunt Sky and hits some STIFF kicks to the chest. Sky blocks one, hits a forearm, rolls her up, and hits a double stomp to the midsection. Sky collapses from all the strikes.

Both women are down. Sky gets up and hits some strikes and a Shotei uppercut. Asuka sends her to the corner, but Sky twists to the apron. Sky snaps Asuka off the top rope and heads to the top rope for a missile dropkick. Sky flips to her feet and gets the crowd fired up. Sky backs to the corner and hits a Bullet Train Attack for a near fall. Sky goes for a double underhook backbreaker, but Asuka gets out and hits a strike combo, followed by a running knee for a near fall. Asuka stands up and goes for a kick, but Sky ducks it and rolls her up for a two-count. Asuka ducks a kick, but Sky catches her on the rebound for a near fall. Sky goes for a German Suplex, but Asuka grabs the ropes. Sky pulls her away and hits a bridging German Suplex for a near fall. Asuka quickly transitions into a kimura before going for a Fujiwara armbar. Sky gets out, but Asuka hits a knee to the face. Sky ducks a strike and hits a spin kick before collapsing.

Both women are down again! They slowly get up, and Asuka catches Sky charging with an Asuka Lock attempt. Sky fights it and elbows her in the jaw. Sky hits a modified stunner, but Asuka quickly takes her down with an armbar. Sky fights out and goes for an Asuka Lock! Asuka gets a foot on the bottom rope. Asuka gasps for air on the apron. Sky climbs the ropes and grabs her, but Asuka slings Sky’s head into the ring post. Asuka goes to the top rope, but Sky cuts her off. Sky hits a super hurricanrana, but Asuka counters into a roll-up for a near fall!

Asuka goes for the Empress Impact against the ropes, but Sky sidesteps her and kicks her out of the ring. Sky gets fired up and tries for a suicide dive, but Asuka forearms her in the face. Asuka puts Sky on the commentary table and climbs up. Asuka goes for a suplex, but Sky fights it. Asuka quickly cuts her off and goes for the Blue Mist, but Sky blocks it with Wade Barrett’s notebook! Asuka is shocked! Sky blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw on the table. Sky then hits a diving crossbody block from the table to the floor. Sky goes to the apron and sets up, but Asuka is out of position. Sky motions for Asuka to move over, which she does. Sky then hits an Asai Moonsault.

Sky gets Asuka into the ring and goes to the top rope. Sky goes for an Over the Moonsault, but Asuka avoids it and applies a triangle choke. Sky tries to push her onto her shoulders, but Asuka kicks out. Asuka applies an Asuka Lock, and Sky is fading! Sky then gets a burst of energy to roll Asuka onto her shoulders for a two-count. The crowd chants, “This is awesome,” as they exchange stiff shots. Asuka blocks a kick and hits a release German Suplex. Sky ducks a kick and hits a release German Suplex. Sky hits a second Bullet Train Attack before heading to the top rope. Sky hits the Over the Moonsault! 1… 2… 3!

Winner: IYO SKY via Pinfall.

IYO SKY looks emotional and bows before Asuka in tears. Asuka is crying and embraces IYO SKY. Asuka hugs and kisses her on the head. Asuka then raises Sky’s arm in victory. Asuka then waves to the crowd before walking off. Sky is left to celebrate.


In-Ring: John Cena

The legendary John Cena makes his way to the ring. The crowd gives Cena a tremendous ovation. One of the great things about being on this side now is leaning into the moments they allowed him to have. It’s nice knowing that no one is coming down to kick his teeth in. Cena thanks the crowd.

It’s moments like these that have him thinking about the next phases of his WWE career after his last match. A “One more match” chant picks up, which Cena was expecting. Cena says that makes him feel good. Cena has thought a lot about that last match. People were upset. Cena was truly happy. What was most important about that night is they made it something bigger. It was an evening of opportunity. His opponent had to win their way in. Cena kindly asked WWE Superstars to give NXT superstars opportunities to show the world what they’ve got. On that night, we saw Sol Ruca, Je’Von Evans, and Oba Femi for the first time. A loud “Oba” chant fires up. Cena hopes Femi is listening. Femi debuts in December. Four months later, he’s strutting and kicking Brock Lesnar’s ass at WrestleMania.

Then it hit him. They have to do this again… so they are. Cena is honored to announce the John Cena Classic. It’ll be an entire evening of the best of today competing against the best of tomorrow. It’ll be an event where WWE and NXT superstars have the opportunity to give all they have in the hopes of being crowned a champion. It’ll be the debut of a brand new championship in the WWE. It’s not just any championship. This is an event and championship he’s personally putting his name on. Cena will strive for a certain level of excellence and do everything he can to make it special. Cena has said time and again that the biggest superstar in WWE is the WWE Universe. On top of a new event and championship, for the first time in history, their voices will be heard louder than ever before. The audience will vote to crown the champion of the John Cena Classic!

Every participant qualifies, which means a superstar might not win their match, but their hustle might earn them respect and votes. You can still crown them the John Cena Classic Champion. It’ll embody everything he stands for and values. It’s important to him. Cena promises to give everything he has to make this an experience that goes beyond one year. Cena says the sky is the limit on this one. Cena thanks Oba Femi for helping make this a reality. Cena thanks the WWE for taking a chance on this crazy idea, as well as those watching at home and the City of Tampa Bay. There are a lot of folks in this crowd who know this city means a lot to him. You can add this one to the list. Cena thanks them for their attention, time, enthusiasm, energy, and noise.

Jacob Fatu vs. Roman Reigns (c)

The bell rings to start this match. Jacob Fatu looks across the ring at his cousin before looking over at the World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd is buzzing for this match. A loud “OTC” chant picks up. They circle the ring before locking up. Reigns hooks a side headlock, but Fatu backs him against the ropes and whips him off. Reigns quickly runs him over with a shoulder tackle and puts a finger in the air, but Fatu immediately pops up behind him. Fatu sneers at Reigns. The crowd sings Roman Reigns’ name. They lock up again, and Fatu hooks a side headlock. Reigns drops to a knee as Fatu cinches it in. Reigns whips him off, but Fatu shoulder tackles the champion down. Fatu hits the ropes and goes over Reigns. Reigns leapfrogs him and goes for a clothesline, but Fatu stays standing. Fatu lariats Reigns down before hitting a clothesline over the top rope. Fatu goes for a suicide dive, but he grabs Reigns and transitions him into the Tongan Death Grip! Fatu slams him into the ring post and throws him back into the ring.

Reigns rolls out of the ring to recover. Fatu grabs him, but Reigns snaps him off the top rope. Reigns bends the hand over the ropes and starts trying to stretch it to prevent the Tongan Death Grip. Reigns slams Fatu’s hand into the ring post before slinging him down onto the floor. There are dueling chants for both men. Reigns gets Fatu in the ring as he continues to work on Fatu’s hand. Reigns bounces Fatu’s face off the top turnbuckle, but Fatu fights back with some headbutts. Reigns fights back with some strikes before getting him in the corner for the ten punches. Fatu pushes him off, so Reigns clubs him several times in the corner. Fatu blocks it by grabbing the arm and hitting a short-arm clothesline. Fatu stands over Reigns and looks at his hand. Fatu’s fingers are taped up for the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu continues to punch away at Reigns. The commentators talk about how we haven’t seen Drew McIntyre since he lost to Fatu at WrestleMania. Fatu drives Reigns into the ring post and poses in the ring. Reigns gets up and hits some clotheslines. Fatu reverses a whip and hits a diving clothesline. Reigns attacks him in the corner before hitting a big boot. Reigns points to the sky.

Reigns gets locked and loaded before connecting with a Superman Punch. 1… Fatu kicks out and immediately gets to his feet, gyrating! Reigns looks absolutely stunned, and the crowd loudly chants, “Fatu.” Fatu punches back at Reigns before sending him into the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Fatu gets more fired up, takes Reigns down, and hits a senton splash. Fatu avalanches Reigns in the corner before climbing for ten headbutts! Fatu backs up and hits a running hip attack. Fatu continues to gyrate wildly and goes for another hip attack, but Reigns cuts him off with a Superman Punch for a near fall!

Fatu rolls out of the ring, so Reigns catches him with a Drive-by Dropkick! Fatu falls back and hits his head on the steel steps. Reigns clears the commentary table and grabs Fatu, but Fatu applies a Tongan Death Grip! Fatu then takes his stunned cousin and hits a powerbomb through the commentary table! Fatu gets Reigns in the ring, crosses him, and charges, but Reigns intercepts him with a Spear! 1… 2… Fatu kicks out!

The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” Both men are recovering. An “OTC” chant picks up as Reigns gets to his knees and pulls himself up to his feet. Reigns gets fired up and sizes Fatu up. Reigns roars and charges for a Spear, but Fatu counters with a Pop-up Samoan Drop! Fatu immediately hits a Mighty Moonsault! 1… 2… Reigns barely kicks out!

Fatu is furious and hits some falling headbutts. Fatu punches away at Reigns and poses. Reigns is barely moving. Fatu heads to the top rope for a Swanton Bomb, but Reigns gets the knees up. Reigns holds his knee in pain from the impact. Another “OTC” chant picks up. Reigns and Fatu stare at each other before exchanging punches from their knees. They get to their feet and rock each other with punches before Fatu knocks him back into the corner. Fatu hits a pair of WILD running hip attacks. Fatu signals for the Tongan Death Grip as Reigns struggles to get up. Fatu applies the Tongan Death Grip! Reigns struggles, but he quickly begins to fade. Reigns looks unconscious as the referee checks his arm. One drop… Reigns keeps it up for the second. Reigns puts his thumbs in Fatu’s eyes before backing him into the corner, squashing the referee in there as well. Reigns hits a pair of Superman Punches before hitting the ropes. Fatu superkicks him and goes for a Pop-up Samoan Drop, but Reigns counters with a Superman Punch! Reigns hits the ropes and hits a Spear! 1… 2… Fatu kicks out! Wow!

After a few moments, Fatu puts the Tongan Death Grip back on. Reigns grabs at the referee, but Fatu pulls him away. Reigns pulls at the top turnbuckle to get away, but Fatu pulls him away. The turnbuckle pad comes with Reigns. Reigns manages to get out and bounces Fatu’s head off the exposed turnbuckle. Reigns immediately follows up with a Spear! 1… 2… 3!

Winner: Roman Reigns via Pinfall to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Jacob Fatu is on his feet pretty quickly. Fatu grabs the referee’s shirt before going over to Reigns, who hasn’t moved, and applies a Tongan Death Grip! The referee tries to pull him away, but Fatu knocks him back. Fatu applies another Tongan Death Grip to Reigns. The referee grabs Fatu, so Fatu hits him with a Pop-up Samoan Drop!

WWE officials and producers run down. Fatu punches Shane Helms down and tosses another one out of the ring before putting the Tongan Death Grip back on Reigns. Reigns is foaming at the mouth. Fatu finally releases, looks into the camera, and says, “I told him!” Fatu walks off as Raw General Manager Adam Pearce looks at Reigns. Fatu knocks Jamie Noble over and returns to the ring to put the Tongan Death grip back on Roman Reigns! Fatu releases, picks up the World Heavyweight Championship, and stands over Reigns as the show comes to an end.
