Mason Rook Signs NXT Contract
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Mason Rook signing a contract with NXT to officially join the brand.
During the show, NXT GM Robert Stone was seen in the ring holding a contract in his hand. After some words, Stone welcomed Rook to the NXT brand. This led to Rook coming out and gave a speech about how he has travailed all over the world and wherever he goes, he turns heads. Rook continued stating that John Cena sees him and it’s pretty hard not to notice a flying human tank. Rook talked about why he came to NXT and stated whoever steps in the ring will find out when you step in front of a tank, you get crushed.

This led to NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo’s music playing to interrupt and came out. D’Angelo stated Mason wanted to get his attention and you got it. D’Angelo continued stating you started at the top and attack him once, you are seizing the moment but twice, not so much. D’Angelo continued stating
“if you think you are going to make your name at his expense . . .” but before he could finish, Kam Hendrix ran out and attacked D’Angelo from behind. This led to Rook hitting a moonsault off the top rope onto a bunch of security guys on the outside taking them all out. Rook then got back into the ring and grabbed the contract and signed it as Stone told him that isn’t how they do it in NXT.
