Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the belief within AEW this past April was that Big Bill’s contract with the company was set to expire either at the end of May or the start of this June.
It was reported that there has been no updates on contract negotiations or the chances of Big Bill returning to AEW programming since then.
Big Bill last wrestled and appeared in AEW in an Eight-Man Parking Lot Street Fight match on the February 4th episode of AEW Collision. Big Bill also lasted wrestled in Ring of Honor this past April.
Following the break up of The Learning Tree in April of 2025, Big Bill and “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith have been mostly working in ROH under the tag team name of Paid In Full.
Big Bill has been signed with AEW since May of 2022 and has been working for ROH since June of 2023.
