As noted before, WWE recently announced that this year’s Triplemania 34 event for Lucha Libre AAA will be a two-night event taking place on September 11tth and 13th. While the second event was announced to be taking place in Mexico City, Mexico, the location for the first event was stated to be announced at a later date. The reason for the lack of an announcement for the Night 1 event is due to work visa-related issues for AAA talents in the United States.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that there is currently strong internal speculation within WWE that Night 1 could be taking place in the United States.
It was reported that several WWE talents have expressed interest in working in AAA.
It was also reported that WWE officials currently have plans to integrate more AAA elements into WWE programming, which would help expand AAA’s reach.
