Video: Last Week’s Show Recap

A black SUV drives into the arena. An angry World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns steps out. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce stops him. If Reigns had just listened to him last week, none of this would have happened. Fatu should be fired because he doesn’t deserve to be here. They’re going to do things Pearce’s way. Reigns asks what he wants him to say because it doesn’t matter. Reigns just needs a few minutes because he’s calling him out.
All of a sudden, we hear Jacob Fatu’s music hit. Pearce and Reigns are irate.

“The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu, with four of his fingers on his right hand taped up to help maintain the grip of his Tongan Death Grip, charges down to the ring. A “Fatu” chant fires up. Fatu says he’s here, so Reigns doesn’t have to call him out. Fatu tells Reigns to bring his “punk ass” out here so he can beat him down again.
Jimmy and Jey Uso head to the ring. Jey has a steel chair as they get in the ring. Jimmy holds Jey back. Jimmy asks Fatu what they’re doing. Fatu sat here and told everyone he’d do anything it takes for his family. Part of that was acknowledging the Tribal Chief. Fatu lost at Backlash, but he won’t acknowledge him. That was part of the deal. Then he put his hands on management. They’re ready to fire him. Fatu is supposed to give his family a better life. Now he’s looking at prison again?
Jey goes to hit Fatu with the chair, but Fatu punches him down. Jimmy tries to pull Fatu off, but Fatu applies the Tongan Death Grip to him. Jey hits Fatu with the chair, but Fatu doesn’t feel it. Fatu then applies the Tongan Death Grip to Jey. An “OTC” chant picks up.
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns’ music hits. Fatu smiles as he got the result he wanted. Reigns slowly walks to the ring. Fatu anticipates Reigns getting in the ring. Reigns gets on the apron, and the crowd continues to chant, “OTC.” Reigns gets into the ring, and Fatu stands there with his hand out, ready to apply the Tongan Death Grip. Reigns slowly approaches him, and they begin exchanging punches. Reigns boots him into the corner and backs up. Reigns cocks his fist for a Superman Punch, but Fatu intercepts with a Tongan Death Grip! Jey hits a pair of superkicks, but Fatu won’t let go. Jey then spears Fatu down, and Jimmy immediately follows up with an Uso Splash. The Usos then wipe out Fatu with a 1D.
The Usos stand tall, but Fatu slowly gets to his feet. The Usos tie Fatu’s arms in the ropes, trapping him. Reigns hits him with a Superman Punch. The Usos follow up with a double superkick on the helpless Fatu. Reigns hits another Superman Punch before the Usos hit a second double superkick. Reigns lets out a primal scream before the Usos shove Fatu into the path of a Spear. The OTC stands tall with the Usos before leaving the ring.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce walks out to the stage. Reigns says Pearce can do whatever he wants now. Pearce starts to speak, but Fatu yells, “Roman!” Fatu coughs as he sits up. Fatu says, “Roman… Tribal… Combat!” Pearce says no, but Reigns is seething in anger. Pearce says Reigns doesn’t need that. Reigns grabs the microphone from Pearce, sneers toward Fatu, and says, “I accept!”

Bálor manages to grab a kendo stick and hits McDonagh with it, but McDonagh counters with a Russian leg sweep, driving Bálor into the mat with the kendo stick across his throat. McDonagh chokes him with the kendo stick, but Bálor fights out and drives McDonagh’s head into a chair wedged in the corner.
Bálor goes outside and grabs a table from under the ring before McDonagh wipes him out with a vicious suicide dive. McDonagh sends Bálor into the timekeeper’s area and hits him with a microphone. They brawl into the crowd. Bálor reverses a whip into some equipment cases before setting up for a suplex on the concrete, but McDonagh fights back. McDonagh drives Bálor into the equipment crates before smashing the back of his head off them. McDonagh climbs to the top of the equipment crates and hits a moonsault block to the concrete floor on Bálor!

Bálor hits him in the midsection with the chair before smashing it off his spine twice. Bálor goes to hit him a third time, but he holds up. Bálor then sets up for 1916 on the chair, but McDonagh fights out, slams him onto the chair, and hits a standing moonsault. 1… 2… Bálor kicks out.
The crowd chants, “This is awesome!” McDonagh whips him toward the table, but Bálor puts the brakes on and redirects with a Sling Blade. McDonagh goes outside and grabs another table from under the ring. McDonagh’s back is covered in welts and cuts from this brutal Street Fight. McDonagh puts the table into the ring and sets it up. A “JD sucks” chant picks up. Bálor slowly pulls himself up while using the ropes. McDonagh lays Bálor on the table and signals for the end. McDonagh heads to the top rope, but Bálor crotches him. Bálor puts McDonagh on the table and punches away at him. Bálor heads to the top rope, but “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio runs over and grabs his leg. McDonagh attacks Bálor and hits a superplex through the table! McDonagh crawls over and covers. 1… 2… Bálor barely kicks out!
Mysterio puts a pair of trash cans in the ring and gives one to McDonagh. Mysterio and McDonagh begin to double-team Bálor with the cans. McDonagh knocks Bálor against the ropes and holds him. Mysterio goes for a 619, but Bálor reverses and causes McDonagh to get hit with it! Bálor knocks Mysterio out of the ring and puts a garbage can over McDonagh’s head! Bálor hits him with a shotgun dropkick into the corner. McDonagh falls to the mat with the garbage can still over his head. Bálor then heads to the top rope and crushes McDonagh and the garbage can with a Coup de Grâce for the win!

"Show ME who YOU really are" 😲@wwerollins has laid out the challenge for @bronbreakkerwwe in the Main Event tonight! pic.twitter.com/CU6hDLhrwp
— WWE (@WWE) May 19, 2026
Cathy Kelley asks Seth Rollins whether it’s wise to keep going after The Vision, since it’s causing him more issues. Rollins knows he’s a marked man and has zero allies, but he has to put an end to The Vision. Rollins has been spinning his wheels thinking of the best way to do that. The best way to attack a situation is to run right through it. Rollins hasn’t had a match on Monday Night Raw in about nine months. They should change that tonight in Greensboro. Adam Pearce has given him the main event spot. Rollins will challenge any member of The Vision, even multiples. Rollins hopes the person who answers the challenge is the one who thinks he’s ready, but he isn’t. The man who thinks he can beat Rollins without any help, but he can’t. Rollins wonders who Bron Breakker really is. Is he just a nepobaby who can’t hack it? Is he an athlete turning into a wad of wasted potential? Or is he everything he says he is? This is Breakker’s chance. The main event of Monday Night Raw is his opportunity to show Rollins who he really is.

Byron Saxton is backstage with Sol Ruca. Ruca has had two awesome matches against Liv Morgan and IYO SKY since coming to Raw. Ruca loves having the opportunity to wrestle the best, but she hasn’t won yet. Ruca has made a huge statement and put the locker room on notice. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch walks up and says she hasn’t gotten the notice. Ruca is 0-2. Lynch isn’t sure about Ruca’s future since she can’t win. Ruca should leave and go back to NXT. Ruca says Lynch made a good point and is going to go. Ruca walks off.
Lynch says that’s typical of that generation. In Lynch’s day, she had to scratch and claw… All of a sudden, they hear Sol Ruca’s music in the arena.

Sol Ruca heads to the ring. She’s going to cut to the chase and do this in front of the people. She knows Becky Lynch is back there watching this, but she hopes Lynch comes out to face her like the Man she claims to be.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch heads to the ring looking shocked. Lynch asks what stunt she’s trying to pull. Ruca says she knows Lynch thinks she should run back to NXT scared since she doesn’t belong on Raw, but she’s worked too hard to give up. Ruca is damn good at proving people wrong. Ruca wants to dish it out in the ring right here and now. Lynch smiles and looks unimpressed. Lynch says, “No.” Lynch says she’d love to perform for the people of Greensboro, North Carolina, because the Lord knows they could use some excitement in their lives. She’d love to give them a Becky Lynch match, but she doesn’t just pride herself on being the greatest female athlete…
Ruca cuts her off and says, “Here we go again.” Lynch starts her schtick over. Many people have stepped up to her, but the fall from grace has been catastrophic. Loony Lyra, Mediocre Maxxine, and the absolute joke, AJ Lee, who was so traumatized she left the business. Ruca isn’t ready for her. Ruca needs to think strongly if she’s ready to face her in the ring. If she’s ready, then she’ll face Ruca at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ruca has to remember that she’s not just a star maker… she’s a star breaker.
Ruca says that was cute. She knows what Lynch is doing, and it isn’t working. She’ll see her at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Not only will she snatch her soul again, but she’ll also snatch the title. Lynch said she didn’t say anything about the title. The title is about prestige. Lynch is the prize. Ruca needs to step up to her and beat her. Lynch walks off, shouting at Ruca.

Heyman knows, but now he knows where Rollins will be, since his hands will be full. Breakker can run this play. Breakker smiles knowingly.
