Tristan Angels, Mason Rook, & Kam Hendrix Makes NXT In-Ring Debuts

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured Tristan Angels, Mason Rook, and Kam Hendrix making their official in-ring debuts for the NXT brand.

Angels faced off against Romeo Moreno in a singles match, which was won by Angels.

Rook and Hendrix teamed up together and faced off against NXT North American Champion Myles Borne and NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo in a tag team match, which was won by Rook & Hendrix.

DarkState Turns Heel on Saquon Shugars & Kicks Him Out of Group

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured DarkState turning heel on Saquon Shugars and kicking him out of the group.

DarkState kicking out Shugars was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the growing tensions and issues between Dion Lennox and Shugars leading to Cutler James issuing a warning to both of them if DarkState fails to capture the NXT Tag Team Championship.

During the NXT Tag Team titles match against The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor), Shugars and Lennox’s team cohesion started to unravel leading to DarkState’s eventual loss. This led to James and Osiris Griffin getting in the ring and confronted both Shugars and Lennox. This led to Lennox attacking Shugars and James and Griffin joining in revealing they made the decision on who to kick out of the group for failing them again. DarkState continued their attack on Shugars that ended with them hitting a Cerberus Bomb to Shugars through the announcer’s table.

Current Card for Next Week’s WWE NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured six new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on May 26th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Among the notable matches announced included a singles match of Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan. This new match was setup following a backstage segment involving Sinclair, Kendal Grey, and NXT GM Robert Stone. Stone informed Sinclair that he can’t have her be out there in the ring getting physical while still being on a crutch. Sinclair stated that she wanted a match with Jordan, which Stone responded that he will grant it only on the condition that she gets medically cleared by next week.

Another notable match announced was a NXT Women’s Championship match of Izzi Dame vs. Lola Vice (c). This new match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving Kelani Jordan, Dame, Vice, and Kendal Grey that turned into a brawl after Wren Sinclair ran out and attacked Jordan with her crutch.
