Ludwig Kaiser (El Grande Americano) Battery Arrest in Florida Update – State of Florida Not Objecting To Kaiser’s Motion To Continue Traveling for WWE

As noted before, WWE and AAA talent Ludwig Kaiser, also known as El Grande Americano and real name Marcel Barthel, was arrested on charges of battery this past Wednesday following an altercation with a man in Orange County, Florida. This incident was later revealed to have been caused after Kaiser and a female were acting “uncontrollably intimate” in an elevator and Kaiser attacked the man after being told to “please have some manners.”

The Wrestling Observer’s Joseph Currier reported that recent court records revealed that Kaiser’s attorney has filed a supplemental version of his motion to allow out of state and international travel for him.

In this updated motion, it was stated that Kaiser’s counsel has communicated with the Assistant State Attorney and the State of Florida has no objection to the motion.

“Since the initial filing of the Motion to Travel, undersigned counsel communicated with Assistant State Attorney Shaylynne Kotch, who indicated no objection to this motion.

WHEREFORE, for the foregoing reasons, the Defendant respectfully requests this Honorable Court to enter an Order allowing him to travel out of the State of Florida and internationally.”

Kaiser is currently still scheduled to be facing off against Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) in a Mask vs. Mask match at Lucha Libre AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes 2026 event on May 30th in Monterrey, Mexico.
