Backstage Update on CM Punk’s Current Abscense

CM Punk has been noticeably absent from WWE programming since this past April’s WWE RAW After Mania show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Punk’s current abscense and him being pulled from the advertisements for WWE’s upcoming European tour was believed to be due to a recent “schedule change” for him.

False Finish reported that their sources stated that CM Punk is currently waiting for creative plans for his return to WWE television.

In regards to the reason for Punk’s work schedule and creative plans after WrestleMania 42 being changed, it was reported that WWE officials shifted their plans for Punk after making the decision to move Gunther to SmackDown to feud with Cody Rhodes and move Jacob Fatu to RAW to feud with Roman Reigns.
