In response to several fan questions on Twitter, Grace stated that the written exam tests a huge range of knowledge but much of which has little to do with actually physically operating an aircraft safely. Grace also stated that she had spent the most time studying about weather only for her test to barely have any questions about it.
The written exam tests a huge range of knowledge, much of which has little to do with physically operating an aircraft safely. A pilot forgetting which type of fog is most common doesn’t suddenly make them unable to fly a plane.

Grace previously had stated that the reason she is pursing a pilot’s license is due to her wanting to help Pilots N Paws, which is a non-profit organization involving “volunteers engaged in the valuable services of rescuing, sheltering and adopting animals, and volunteer pilots and plane owners willing to assist with animal transportation.”
