WWE Clash in Italy Notes: Sol Ruca Wins WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title, Santino Marella Makes Surprise Appearance, Roman Reigns Wins Tribal Combat Match

Sol Ruca Wins WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title

Sunday’s WWE Clash in Italy event at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy featured Sol Ruca defeating Becky Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

This was Ruca’s first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship victory and her first-ever championship victory on the main roster in her WWE career.

Santino Marella Makes Surprise Appearance

Sunday’s WWE Clash In Italy event featured former WWE talent and current TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella making a surprise appearance in the crowd.

Roman Reigns Wins Tribal Combat Match

Sunday’s WWE Clash in Italy event also featured Roman Reigns defeating Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

This match featured the stipulation of the winner getting the ulafala to symbolize them being the undisputed tribal chief of the Bloodline and the loser having to both acknowledge their “tribal chief” and serve under him.

Following the match, Jey Uso placed the ulafala around Reigns’ neck. Solo Sikoa and The MFTs (Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga) were in attendance at ringside and left afterwards. Reigns and The Usos left to the back leading to Fatu following at first but then stopped and looked at Sikoa. This led to Jey telling Fatu to come with them, which he did and left with The Usos and Reigns.
