Lucha Libre AAA held a set of tapings on Saturday for this year’s Noche de Los Grandes event at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
The first taping was for that night’s live Week 1 show while the second taping was for the upcoming Week 2 show on June 6th.
Following the live portion of the event, AAA held a Fatal 5-Way match of Joaquin Wilde vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Lince Dorado vs. Octagon Jr. vs. Cruz del Toro for their Week 2 show.
During the match featured Octagon Jr. suffered a serious neck injury following a botched spot involving Wilde hitting a top rope DDT to Octagon Jr. that resulted in Octagon Jr. landing awkwardly on the mat.
Octagon Jr. was not able to continue match after receiving medical attention and was stretchered to the back.
Parece ser que Octagón Jr. sufrió una lesión grave de cuello en la Fatal 5 Way de Noche de los Grandes, que se grabó para la semana que viene. Se tuvo que ir en camilla en medio del combate.
