Chad Gable Announces Documentary Series on His Injury Recovery
Chad Gable was out of action for WWE from June of 2025 until this past January’s Royal Rumble 2025 event due to a shoulder injury. Gable made his return as the Original El Grande Americano and kicked off a feud with El Grande Americano that climaxed in a Mask vs. Mask match at this past May’s AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026 Week 1 event in Monterrey, Mexico, which Gable lost and was unmasked.
Gable announced on Monday on Instagram that he will be releasing a new nine-part documentary series on his official YouTube channel about his road to his recovery from a shoulder injury and his in-ring return earlier this year.
Gable also announced that the first episode of this upcoming new documentary series will be released on Friday, June 5th.
“I’ve spent my entire career preaching discipline, preparation, and accountability.
Then I got hurt.
For the first time in my professional wrestling career, I was forced to stop and figure out who I am when the thing I’ve built my life around gets taken away.
So I’m bringing you with me.
Starting this Friday, follow my 9-part YouTube series as I rebuild from the ground up through rehab, training, nutrition, setbacks, victories, and everything in between.
New episodes every Friday.
No shortcuts.
No excuses.
No pretending every day is a good day.”
Nikki Bella Reveals Her Scrapped Pitch for WWE Clash in Italy Appearance
A recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Nikki Bella revealing a creative pitch that she had made to WWE for a potential appearance at this past Sunday’s Clash in Italy event in Turin, Italy that ended up not happening.
“I pitched this incredible idea called Ciao Bella! ‘Hey, you guys, I would love to do this, whether it’s pre-show or doing a fun commercial thing for a PLE or just make it social.’ It would be where I have these different moments with WWE superstars, so there would be a moment where I’m on the scooter with Danhausen and his scarf is flying in my face. I’d have a moment with Brie and Paige and have a spritz with the tag team champions, and then I’d be on a gondola ride with Gunther, and he’s just staring straight being Gunther, and I’m looking around like Emily in Paris. This is what gave me the idea, being like Emily in Rome, me touring with WWE superstars. The gondolier is another WWE superstar giving me the look, or he’s someone who hates Gunther. I have this other moment where Oba and I are getting gelato and trying a selfie with him, but the height difference. Judgment Day comes and slaps the gelato out of our hands. I had all these fun segment ideas with superstars that were very Italian and fun, that gave Emily in Paris vibes. I have a romantic spaghetti dinner with Penta. They showed interest. I was going back with the team, and they really liked the idea. My ending segment was me walking down the street, and they are going, ‘Ciao Bella, Ciao Bella.’ I take a pause and go, ‘Oh my god, I’m like so famous here.’ Obviously, because they call everyone Bella, but I think it’s because I’m Nikki Bella. It was cute and they all loved it, but it fell through.
They loved it because everyone has to be in gimmick. We were talking and they were going to get back to me with logistics, and then it just fell through. It’s okay. Another time, I guess.”
