As noted before, Sareee was pulled from her scheduled Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament match against Skye Blue at the June 10th AEW Summer Blockbuster 2026 show in Cincinnati, Ohio due to her not being medically cleared from her neck injury issues. Sareee was replaced by Maya World for her scheduled match at the show, which was won by World.
Sareee reflected earlier today on Twitter about her having to miss this year’s Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament due to her not being cleared by AEW doctors in time from her neck issues.
“I was very disappointed that I couldn’t participate in this great tournament and I apologize to the fans who were excited for it. I definitely want to return to AEW. Looking forward to that day.”

Following her tweet, AEW CEO Tony Khan responded stating that the door is always open for her in AEW.
“No apologies are necessary! Heal up, good luck in your recovery, and you’re welcome to come back here anytime, the door to @AEW is open for you!”
