Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that TNA officials have held recent internal discussions regarding plans to add another championship in the company.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that the current idea is to introduce a new women’s midcard title to their Knockouts division with a tournament to crown an inaugural champion being planned to take place this July.
No other details were given regarding the name for this new potential championship belt for TNA’s Knockouts division.
This would become the third Women’s championship in TNA Wrestling, following the TNA Knockouts World Championship and TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship.
