WWE SmackDown kicks off with clips of last week’s show.

In-Ring: Trick Williams, Ricky Saints

In the arena, out comes Trick Williams and Lil Yachty to the ring. Trick says he thinks the people in London miss Trick Williams and Lil Yachty. Trick says something happened last week that made him miss SmackDown. He says he doesn’t just miss SmackDown. He says that last week, he went to Jamaica, Lil Yachty was there, Lash Legend was there and he is now a married man. Trick shows his wedding ring and the fans chant Whoop that Trick.

Lil Yachty says there were women, violinists, hand rolled cigars, it was crazy and love was in the air. Trick says when he got married, that was the best day of his life. His friends were there, his family was there, she said I do and so did he. Trick says he whooped that Trick all night long. He says the Legend is not there tonight but he tells her he is thinking about her.

Trick says that Ricky Saints is the one he will compete against at Night of Champions. Trick congratulates Ricky because he is absolutely going to whoop his ass. He says he will beat him at Night of Champions, rock into SummerSlam rocking his lemon pepper steppers, a ring on his finger and the United States Championship around his waist.

Ricky’s music hits and out he comes. Ricky congratulates Trick, he is married but what that tells him is that he is actually not good at making life decisions. Ricky gets in the ring. He says he doesn’t give it that much time. Trick says that his patience is short and his backhand is strong. If he keeps talking, he will smack him down to London bridge. Ricky says that Trick is on the sauce from his wedding night. He says Trick does not understand what is happening. He is talking about SummerSlam and London bridge. Ricky says reality stands in front of him and at Night of Champions, he will be the United States Champion.

He says he knows that Trick Williams will end tomorrow. Trick says Ricky is telling him what he needs to focus on but he knows what Ricky needs to focus on. He asks him who his daddy will be when he kicks his teeth down his throat.

Ricky tells Trick that when he beats him for the title, he asks Trick is his little friend Lil Yachty comes with the title. Ricky hits Lil Yachty with a right hand an he leaves the ring. Trick helps Lil Yachty and Ricky hits Trick with a microphone.

Backstage: Alexa Bliss, Tiffany Stratton

We cut to Jackie Redmond who is with Alexa Bliss. She tells Redmond that Flair is feeling the physical and emotional pain. She says after what Jade and her minions did to Flair last week, she will get revenge with Tiffany. In comes Tiffany. She tells Alexa that she only cares about getting through her match tomorrow. Tiffany tells her they can get through tonight and after she beats Jade tomorrow, her and Flair can do what they want as long as they leave her out of it.

Tiffany Stratton & Alexa Bliss vs. B-Fab & Michin

The bell rings and we are under way. Tiffany and Michin start the match. Tiffany with a head lock take down and she gets to her feet. Tiffany with a drop kick. She goes for the cover but Michin kicks out. She lifts Michin up but Michin lands on her feet. Bliss is tagged in. Bliss with right hands and a drop kick. Bliss to the ropes and she lands a Natural selection. She grabs Michin but Michin with a jaw breaker. B-Fab is tagged in and Bliss throws Michin to the outside of the ring. Bliss to the outside and B-Fab with a spinning kick.

Back from commercial, Tiffany and B-Fab are in the ring. Tiffany with an Alabama slam. She goes for the cover but B-Fab kicks out. Tiffany with a stunner. She goes for the cover but B-Fab kicks out. Tiffany climbs the top rope and lands a swanton. She goes for the cover but Michin breaks it up. Michin to the ropes but Bliss trips her and drags her to the outside of the ring. Bliss grabs Michin but Michin throws Bliss into the time keeper’s area. Michin gets in the ring but Tiffany kicks her down. The referee looks at Michin, Tiffany climbs the second rope but out coms Jade Cargill and she trips Tiffany. B-Fab with a face buster. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: B-Fab & Michin via Pinfall.

In comes Jade Cargill and they go to attack Tiffany but out comes Chelsea Green with a kendo stick. B-Fab runs towards her but Green hits her with a kendo stick. As Chelsea gets in the ring, she drops her kendo stick. Michin runs towards Green but Green moves out of the way. Jade runs towards Green but Green lowers the top rope and Jade falls to the outside of the ring. Tiffany, Chelsea and Bliss are in the ring with their arms raised.

Backstage: Solo Sikoa, The MFTs

We cut to Solo Sikoa who is with Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga. Tama Tonga says they saw what Solo did on Raw to Jey and that was a problem. Tama says they are tired of being dragged into Solo’s war with Roman. Tama says they told him to stay back last week and he didn’t listen. Now Solo is helping LA Knight. Tala Tonga says they got word from the elders, he and Tama are out. Solo tells them they can’t leave and Tama says they just did. Tama and Tala leave and Solo says they can’t just walk away.

Backstage: Nick Aldis, Jade Cargill

Back from commercial, Nick Aldis is with Jade Cargill. She tells him that she is not asking, she wants Chelsea tonight. Aldis says he can do that and she says good.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship
Nathan Frazer vs. Rey Fenix (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Both men with reversals. Frazer runs towards Rey but Rey with a super kick. Rey with a cross body off the top rope. He goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Rey with a drop kick and Frazer falls to the outside of the ring. Rey with a cross body off the top rope. He throws Frazer back into the ring. Rey gets on the ring apron but Frazer with a kick to the side of the head. Frazer with a splash over the top rope onto Rey on the outside of the ring.

Back from commercial, Rey with a cutter. Rey with a neck breaker. He goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Rey climbs the top rope but Frazer with a kick to the side of the head. Frazer climbs the top rope and lands a superplex. Frazer lifts Rey up, Rey rolls him up but Frazer kicks out. Both men with kicks to the side of the head. Rey with right hands but Frazer with a knee to the face. Rey with a kick. Rey goes for a spring board but Frazer with a Spanish fly. He goes for the cover but Rey kicks out. Frazer climbs the top rope and goes for the Phoenix Splash, Rey moves out of the way, Frazer lands on his feet but Rey with a knee to the face. Rey runs towards Frazer but Frazer with a kick to the side of the head and Rey falls to the outside of the ring. Frazer goes for a suicide dive but Rey moves out of the way and Frazer lands face first onto the announce table. Rey throws Frazer into the ring. Rey climbs the top rope and lands a frog splash. He goes for the cover but Frazer kicks out. Rey with the Mexican Muscle Buster. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Rey Fenix via Pinfall to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.

Backstage: R-Truth, Damian Priest, War Raiders

Byron Saxton is backstage with R-Truth and Damian Priest. Saxton asks them what is next and R-Truth says the hot tub. Priest says they look forward to move on and in come the War Raiders. They tell R-Truth and Priest to put all of the gold on the line. Their AAA Tag Team Championships. R-Truth says that Jimmy says that all of the Judgment Day can have the titles. They tell R-Truth that they are not the Judgment Day. Priest says they are good with that and they walk away.

Parking Lot: LA Knight

We see a car park and out comes LA Knight. Jackie Redmond stops him and she says this is SmackDown. He tells her he could ask her the same thing, they should be on Raw. He says he will go to the ring and get some answers.

In-Ring: LA Knight, Solo Sikoa

Out comes LA Knight to the ring. He says on Monday, he and Jimmy had a battle, unfortunately for Jimmy, he had to eat a BFT and he caught himself looking at the lights. He says he kind of respects Jimmy but he got what he deserved. But he saw Solo in the corner during the match and it got him confused. He asks Solo Sikoa to come down to the ring. Out comes Solo Sikoa and he gets in the ring.

LA Knight says that ten out of ten times, it has been to attack him. Solo says he is not there to fight him, he LA Knight is looking for a fight, he is wasting his time. He says everyone in his family has left him. LA Knight says he understands that has to hurt but his heart does not pump purple piss for losing his family. He says if you ask him, that just leaves Solo wide open to go into the Bloodline. LA Knight asks him why he did that. Solo says he hates that damn family, that is why. He says he hates the Bloodline, he hates that he was part of the group, he hates Jacob, he hates the Usos, he hates Roman Reigns.

Solo says the only way for him to feel better is if he finishes them but he knows that there is one thing they have in common. That is that they do not like the Bloodline. LA Knight says Solo should hate the Bloodline, he should hate Roman Reigns for everything he has done to him. But Jimmy, Jey and Jacob should hate Roman too. He says they did more to them than he did to Solo and they got into the fold. He says you had main event become baggage handler Jey Uso. He says he has seen the movie, he knows how it ends, he does not believe Solo and it’s not different. Solo says he has nothing to lose, it’s just him. And the enemy of his enemy can be friends. Solo says they can work together, they can be partners and take out the Bloodline. They can watch each other’s backs.

LA Knight says he has heard that before. He says he hates the Bloodline, he is outnumbered, have those numbers always worked against him, yeah. Does he probably need help, yeah. Does he need Solo Sikoa standing next to him. Solo says yeah and LA Knight says nah nah. He says he lives and he dies doing things his way because it’s the only way he has ever know with everybody saying LA Knight yeah. LA Knight says thanks but no thanks and he leaves the ring.

Backstage: Sami Zayn, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae

We cut to Byron Saxton with Sami Zayn. He says he called the match last week down the middle until he got pushed to his limits. He says no one seems to get it except for him. And we see Johnny Gargano who is laying down. He says now he is about to wrestle for the WWE Championship. Byron says he has title opportunities in the past but this does look different. Zayn anyone who has seen him will see he has been an emotional wreck. And it started at the Royal Rumble and he lost but because he stayed true to himself, he stayed good, now, the universe has given him this opportunity to redeem himself. Zayn turns to Gargano and says he has to redeem himself. He says he will become the WWE Champion.

Paige vs. Jacy Jayne

The bell rings and we are under way. Paige is distracted by Fatal Influence and Jayce Jane hits her with a super kick. She goes for the cover but Paige kicks out. She runs towards Paige but Paige with a right hand. Paige with a headbutt. Paige with a submission but Jayce Jane makes it to the ropes and she rolls to the outside of the ring. Paige gets on the ring apron and she lands a cannon ball onto Fatal Influence. Jayce Jane gets on the ring apron and she kicks Paige.

Back from commercial, Paige with a clothesline and a German suplex. Paige with a fisherman’s suplex and the Paige turner. She goes for the cover but Jayce Jane kicks out. Paige grabs Jayce Jane but rolls her into a cover but Paige kicks out. Jayce Jane with a running kick to the face. She goes for the cover but Paige kicks out. Jayce Jane goes for the Rolling Encore but Paige moves out of the way. Jayce Jane rolls her up and Jayce Jane puts her legs on the ropes for leverage. Brie moves Jayce Jane’s legs off the ropes. Fatal Influence throw Brie into the ring post. Paige rolls Jayce Jane up and gets the pin.

Winner: Paige via Pinfall.

Backstage: Danhausen, The Miz, Kit Wilson, Matt Cardona, Los Garza

We cut backstage and Danhausen is with The Miz and Kit Wilson. Miz and Wilson are zombie like. In comes Matt Cardona who asks Danhausen what is going on and Danhausen asks him to stop talking. Miz and Wilson are gone. In come Berto and Garza, they ask Matt where Danhausen is. He tells them to go find him.

Backstage: Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, Finn Balor

Back from commercial, we see Tama Tonga and Tala Tonga. Finn Balor stops them and tells them it is good to see them. He tells Tama Tonga it is good to see him make his own decisions. Tama tells him they used to run together but what was a long time ago. He says Shinsuke used to run with him too but they all saw how that went.

In-Ring: Danhausen, The Miz, Kit Wilson, Los Garza, Matt Cardona, Nick Aldis

Out come Danhausen, The Miz and Kit Wilson. Danhausen welcomes everyone to Danhausen TV. He says his guests are the legion of Danhausen. He asks Miz how he feels about Danhausen replacing him on his own tv show. Miz says awesome. Danhausen asks Wilson how he feels about lost causes and destroying Danhausen’s experiments. Wilson says toxic and Danhausen says he agrees.

Out come Las Garza and they get in the ring. They throw Miz and Wilson to the outside of the ring. Out comes Matt Cardona to the ring. Nick Aldis comes out and he makes a tag team match.

Danhausen & Matt Cardona vs. Los Garza (Angel & Berto)

Back from commercial, Matt and Berto are in the ring. Matt with a kick to the face and Angel is tagged in. Matt gets on the ring apron and Garza with a drop kick. Berto hits Danhausen off the ring apron. Angel throws Matt back into the ring. Angel with a chop to the chest. Berto is tagged back in. Las Garza double team Matt. Angel is tagged back in and they double team Matt who falls to the outside of the ring. They throw Matt into the barricade and back into the ring. Las Garza double clothesline Wilson over the time keeper’s area. Angel gets in the ring but Matt with a flap jack. Danhausen and Berto are tagged in. Danhausen with an atomic drop followed by a clothesline. In comes Angel and Danhausen with a suplex. Danhausen runs towards Angel and clotheslines him. He runs towards Berto and clothesliens him. He runs but gets tired. Berto goes for a splash onto Danhausen but Danhausen moves out of the way and Berto with a splash onto Angel. Danhausen goes for the cover but Angel breaks it up. Angel goes to the outside of the ring and grabs a chair. Wilson grabs the chair from Angel. Matt with a Rough Rider onto Angel. Danhausen rolls Berto up but Berto kicks out. Berto with a kick to the side of the head. Berto climbs the top rope but Danhausen sits up and says you are cursed. Pyro comes out of the ring post and Berto falls. Danhausen with a reverse DDT. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Danhausen & Matt Cardona via Pinfall.

Backstage: Gunther

We cut to the back and Byron Saxton is with Gunther. He tells Byron that if there is someone that will need redemption, it’s him because he got screwed out of being WWE Champion twice. Byron tells him that Gunther’s win loss record against Cody has not been in his favor. Gunther tells him Cody screwed him twice and tomorrow, it will go down different. And he will tell him that tonight. Gunther walks away.

Chelsea Green vs. Jade Cargill

The bell rings and we are under way. Chelsea with a slap to the face but Jade grabs Green and throws her. Green on the ring apron, Jade runs towards her but Green lowers the top rope and Jade falls to the outside of the ring. Green goes for a cross body but Jade catches her and she lands a fall away slam.

Back from commercial, Jade with a chokeslam. She goes for the cover but Green kicks out. Jade with right hands. Jade goes for a spear but Green moves out of the way and Jade hits the ring post. Green rolls her up but Jade kicks out. Green with right hands and she lands a snap mare. Green climbs the top rope and she lands a drop kick. She goes for the cover but Jade kicks out. Green goes for the Unpretty Her but Jade pushes her. Jade goes for the pump kick but Green moves out of the way. Green to the ropes and Jade with a pump kick. Jade with the Jaded. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Jade Cargill via Pinfall.

After the match, Jade hits Green with right hands. Tiffany’s music hits and out she comes with Alexa Bliss. Jade rolls to the outside of the ring. Out come B-Fab and Michin. All four women fight in the ring. In comes Jade and she hits Bliss with a super kick. Jade, B-Fab and Michin begin attacking Tiffany. Jade hits Tiffany with the Jaded.

Backstage: Solo Sikoa, Royce Keys

We cut to Byron Saxton who is with Solo Sikoa. In comes Royce Keys. He tells Byron that he knows Jimmy is coming for him. Solo asks Keys if he will help him the way Solo helped him. Keys wishes him good luck.

Backstage: Trick Williams, Lil Yachty

Jackie Redmond is backstage with Trick Williams and Lil Yachty. She tells them that Ricky hit them earlier. Lil Yachty tells Ricky that they were not looking at him, they were looking right passed him. But now they are looking at him. And now he has a tricky situation. Trick says news flash, Trick is bigger than him, he hits harder than him, he is smoother than him and at Night of Champions, it will be the night of Trick Williams.

Giulia vs. Kiana James

The bell rings and we are under way. Kiana with a running kick and right hands. Kiana runs towards Giulia but Giulia with a kick and Kiana falls to the outside of the ring. Kiana drags Giulia to the outside. She grabs Giulia but Giulia throws her into the ring apron and into the ring. Giulia gets in the ring and Giulia with kicks. Giulia with a drop kick. She goes for the cover but Kiana James kicks out. Giulia goes for a suplex, Kiana lands on her feet. Giulia with a right hand and Kiana falls to the outside of the ring. Giulia gets on the ring apron and jumps but Kiana moves out of the way. Kiana throws Giulia face first into the ring steps.

Back from commercial, Giulia with right hands. Giulia to the ropes but Kiana with a super kick. Kiana goes for a standing moon sault but Giulia moves out of the way. Giulia with a shoulder tackle. Giulia with a head scissor take down. Giulia with a back suplex. She goes for the cover but Kiana kicks out. Giulia climbs the top rope but Kiana with a right hand. Kiana throws Giulia down. Kiana with a falcon arrow. She goes for the cover but Giulia kicks out. Kiana lifts Giulia up but Giulia lands on her feet. Giulia goes for a running knee but Kiana picks her up and slams her. She goes for the cover but Giulia kicks out. Kiana places Giulia up on her shoulders and she climbs the second rope. Giulia with a sunset flip power bomb. Giulia with the Arrivederci. Giulia with a northern lights bomb. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Giulia via Pinfall.

As Giulia is celebrating, out comes Out comes Blake Monroe and she hits Giulia from behind. Blake with a neutralizer.

In-Ring: Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Gunther, Jey Uso, Oba Femi

Out comes Cody Rhodes to the ring. He asks the fans what they want to talk about. Sami Zayn’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Zayn thanks his ride or die fans in London who have supported him since day one. Zayn says that he needs to tell Cody this face to face, man to man and maybe as a friend.

Zayn says that last week, he regrets what happened. He says he was provoked, he was pushed to his limit but he is a good guy. He says he is the last real good guy, he should have been better. He says he regrets the fast count, he regrets hitting the WWE official and hitting Cody with the WWE Championship. He says it was a mistake.

Cody asks him if it was a mistake and Zayn says it was. But now they are here, they are about to wrestle for the WWE Championsip and he needs Cody to know that this is not how he wanted it. He never wanted to be in the middle of this thing with Gunther, he never asked to be guest referee. Cody tells him enough. He says this is exactly what he wanted. He is wrestling for the WWE Championship, in a match against him where he does not even have to be pinned to lose the title. He says this victim card that he is playing, he says Zayn is not a victim. He says Zayn is exhausting. He says every interaction they have had, he was like a mosquito sucking the blood out of him. He says he can’t understand how he is best friends with Kevin Owens. He says the first difference between them is Owens would have said what he meant and stabbed him in the front, not the back. And the other difference is that at least Kevin Owens has been WWE Champion.

Zayn says he will say this once and that is to keep Kevin’s name out of his mouth. He says if it wasn’t for him, Gunther would be WWE Champion. He says Cody should be thanking him, the only reason why he is Champion is because of him and after Night of Champions, the only reason he will not be WWE Champion will be because of him.

Gunther’s music hits and he asks what all of this drama is. He says he doesn’t care. He says he cares about winning what is rightfully his. He says Zayn is right about one thing, if he would not have screwed him, he would be WWE Champion. Gunther says and Cody knows it. He says but Zayn is wrong when he says that he will leave Night of Champions with the title because he will. Gunther says as a referee, Zayn caused a lot of damage but as a wrestler, he is not a factor. He says Zayn has never been WWE Champion and he never will be. And as for Cody, to enjoy his last night as the golden boy because at Night of Champions, he will take it all away. Gunther says he will walk into SummerSlam facing the King of the Ring, not him.

Jey’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Gunther asks Jey who he thinks he is and what does he want. Jey says that at Night of Champions, he will punch his ticket to SummerSlam when he will win King of the Ring. He tells Cody this is his warning shot. He tells Zayn if he wins, this is his warning shot. He tells Gunther that he doesn’t get a warning shot. He says just like at WrestleMania, he will make him tap out like a little bitch. Gunther hits Jey with a right hand. Cody and Zayn grab Gunther but Gunther hits Zayn with a right hand. Cody and Jey double team Gunther and throw him to the outside of the ring.

Oba Femi’s music hits and out he comes. Jey super kicks Cody and he falls to the outside of the ring. Gunther gets in the ring and he clotheslines Jey. Gunther and grabs the WWE Championship and he gets in Oba Femi’s face. Zayn hits Gunther from behind. Zayn grabs the title but Cody hits Zayn with the Cross Rhodes. Cody grabs the title but Oba Femi stands in front of Cody. Both men are face to face and Cody lifts the Undisputed title as SmackDown goes off the air.
