Shibata and Strong lock up, as we start things off. Shibata sends Strong to the corner and we get a clean break. O’Reilly is in, as Hook is tagged in. Both men lock up, as Hook kicks O’Reilly and puts him in a side headlock. Hook brings down O’Reilly and grabs him applying a headlock. O’Reilly kicks Hook in the upper body. Strong is tagged back in. He drops Hook with a back breaker. O’Reilly is tagged in as Strong and O’Reilly double team Hook. Orange is tagged in. He goes to the top rope, then comes down on the mat and drops and elbow on Hook. Orange covers Hook for a one count. Orange covers him again, and Hook again kicks out. Hook slams Cassidy and tags in Bowens, who picks up Cassidy and slams him on his back. Bowens trash talks Cassidy and tries to encourage to get up. Cassidy puts his hands in his pocket. Bowens pulls Cassidy’s hands out of his pockets and then claps with them. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets and takes down Bowens, who tags in Shibata. He asks Cassidy to give it to him. Cassidy rolls up Shibata for a two count. Hook is tagged in, as Shibata suplexes Cassidy on the apron, then the floor before rolling him back in the ring. Hook covers Orange for only a two count.

Back from the break, Shibata has a headlock on Cassidy and then snaps him over and runs the ropes, connecting with a pump kick on Strong, dropping him to the floor. Cassidy hits a stunt dog millionaire on Shibata and tags in O’Reilly. He takes down Shibata, who tags in Bowens. O’Reilly connects with a knee on Bowens then an ankle lock. Hook comes in and grabs O’Reilly, who then back suplexes him. O’Reilly then takes down Hook and Bowens. Hook rolls to the floor. Strong is tagged in. Shibata is tagged in. Strong and Shibata exchange multiple chops to the chest. Cassidy trips Shibata as he runs the ropes. Hook is in and is met with a backbreaker. Cassidy is tagged in…Shibata nails Cassidy. He tags in Bowens, who is met with a boot to the face. Strong is tripped, as O’Reilly and Shibata exchange blows in the center of the ring. O’Reilly hits Shibata with a knee strike. Hook is in and suplexes O’Reilly. Cassidy is in. He DDT’s Hook and then drops Bowens. Bowens takes down O’Reilly and then DDT’s Cassidy and covers him for only a two count!

Both men are down as we get a ‘this is awesome’ chant. Shibata comes in and picks up Cassidy. Bowens goes to kick Cassidy, but Cassidy ducks, as he hits Shibata…Cassidy nails Bowens with an Orange Punch. Strong and O’Reilly fight off Hook and Shibata, as Orange falls on Bowens and gets the pin.

Winner: The Conglomeration via Pinfall to retain the AEW World Trios Championship.


Backstage: The Demand, The Lethal Twist

We go backstage with The Demand who talk about they want their quest for gold. Lethal Twist walks down the stairs, as Jay Lethal apologizes. Ricochet says that is okay and he likes Lethal’s haircut.

Back from the break, we go to a backstage vignette with the Death Riders, addressing Swerve Strickland.


TNT Championship
Dezmond Xavier vs. “The Jet” Kevin Knight

The music of The Rascalz hits, as Dezmond Xavier is out first. Next up, Kevin Knight..The TNT Champion makes his way out and down to the ring.

The fans chant ‘you sold out’ to Knight.

The bell rings as both men lock up. Knight kicks Dez and applies a headlock. Dez falls down, as Knight holds on. Dez is up and tries to break the hold, but Knight keeps the hold and brings down Dez for a one count. Dez breaks out of the hold, as Dez takes down Knight and covers him for a two count. Dez rolls up Knight for another two count. Knight is looking a little shaken. Knight attempts to use the ropes to pin Dez, but the ref catches it. Dez connects with a big kick on Knight and then sends him to the floor!.

Dez runs the ropes, but Knight sees it and shelters near the steel steps. The ref begins the ten count as Knight comes in and then rolls out. Dez is pulled out of the ring and Knight pushes him against the ring apron. Knight leaps over the steel steps, hitting Dez with a big lariat!

Back from the break, Knight picks up Dez, but he counters. Both men take each other down. Knight is up first. Dez connects with an uppercut and thrust kick on Knight. Dez covers Knight for only a two count. Dez lines up, but Knight moves, but is hit with a back elbow. Knight comes back and scoops up Dez and connects with a backbreaker. Knight covers Dez for only a two count. Knight goes to the top rope. Dez rolls to the corner, as Knight is hit by Dez…Knight leaps up and misses a flying lariat. Dez covers Knight for a two count. Dez is hit with a drop kick by Knight. Dez comes back and spikes Knight on the top of his head. Both men are down, as the ref starts the ten count. Both men are up and exchange forearm shots in the center of the ring. Knight lays big elbow shots into Dez, as he comes back with a lariat, dropping Knight. Dez connects with a kick and then a sling blade bulldog on Knight. Dez covers Knight for only a two count. Knight goes to the floor, as Dez lands on Knight on the floor. Dez picks up Knight and drops him on the apron and rolls him in the ring. Dez goes to the top and comes down with a sky twister press, but Knight moves, kicks Dez in the back of the head and connects with a crash landing for the win.

Winner: “The Jet” Kevin Knight via Pinfall to retain the TNT Championship.

Back in the venue, the music of the Triangle of Madness hits, as they make their way out. Thekla says all the other companies play nice with each other and it makes her sick. Thekla talks about attacking the president of STARDOM. Julie Hart says the war will not be fought alone. Skye Blue says she will face STARDOM’s Miaka at the Buy In in the Survival of the Fittest Qualifier.


JD Drake vs. Chris Jericho

Back from the break, JD Break is already in the ring. We go to a recap from last Saturday when Tommaso Ciampa attacked Chris Jericho, busting him open.

The music of Jericho’s music hits, as the fans start to sing along. The pyro goes off at the entrance area. Jericho walks out and down to the ring.

The bell rings as we are underway. Jericho jaws at Drake, who jaws back. Jericho chops Drake and then hits him with a serious of elbow shots. Drake sends Jericho to the corner. Drake is up on the second rope. Jericho goes up and hits Drake with several big fists and then drops Drake to the mat! Jericho sends Drake to the floor. Jericho goes to the top rope and comes down with a big cross body on Drake on the outside! Jericho grabs Drake and sends him head first into the steel steps. Drake is back in the ring. Jericho kicks him in the head and then hits him with elbow shots. Drake comes back with a side slam on Jericho and covers him for only a two count.

Drake pushes Jericho to the corner and chops him. Drake then runs and connects on Jericho, who slumps down. Drake connects with a running cannonball in the corner. Drake goes to the top and comes down with a moonsault, but Jericho rolls out of the way. Jericho is up and chops Drake, who fires right back with his own chops. Jericho rolls up Drake, but he kicks out at two. Jericho connects with a code breaker on Drake and then hits him with a big knee. Jericho gets Drake in the Walls of Jericho. Drake taps out to give Jericho the win.

Winner: Chris Jericho via Submission.

Jericho calls for Tony Schiavone to get in the ring. Jericho puts the Walls of Jericho on Drake and tells Tony to says Jericho is better than Tommaso Ciampa. Jericho grabs a mic and says he has been looking for Ciampa, but he is not here. Jericho just wants to see him face to face to thank him for leaving him beaten and bloody, but won’t be thankful for what happens to him now and tells him he will see him at Beach Break.


Backstage: Thunder Rosa, Divine Dominion

We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Thunder Rosa and the Divine Dominion. Rosa and Olympia will challenge for the Women’s World Tag Team Titles at Forbidden Door. After exchanging words, Rosa pulls off her shirt and dares Megan Bayne to hit her.


CMLL World Women’s Championship
Billie Starkz vs. Persephone (c)

Back in the venue, the music of Billie Starkz hits, as she is out first. Next up, the CMLL World’s Women Champion – Persephone, who makes her way out and down to the ring.

Tony Khan presents the bell before the fans, as it is then raised up by referee Aubrey Edwards.

The bell rings, as both women lock up. We get a clean break, as Starkz takes down the champion, then does jumping jacks. Persephone grabs Billie from behind who goes down and then connects with a running drop kick, followed by jumping jacks. Persephone picks up Billie and slams her down. Billie is on the apron and then uses the ropes to take down Persephone. Starkz drops the champion on her head on the apron. Stark is up on the announce table and comes off with a big senton onto Persephone. Billie then sends the champ into the barricade.

Back from the break, Persephone connects the mid-section on Starkz. Persephone battles out of being picked up by Billie. Persephone hits Billie with a back elbow. Persephone covers Starkz for only a two count. Persephone picks up Billie, who connects with back elbows on the champ. Persephone rolls up Billie but she kicks back and then connects with a running knee on the champion. Starkz is up on the top rope, as Persephone hits her and then superplexes Starkz. Persephone is dropped with a neck breaker on Billie’s knee. The fans chant ‘this is awesome.’ The ref checks on Billie who had a bad landing from a Northern Lights. Billie goes to the top and comes down but Persephone moves. Persephone connects with a spear on Starkz and picks her up and drops her with a crucifix bomb for the win to retain.

Winner: Persephone via Pinfall to retain the CMLL World Women’s Championship.

After the match, Hikaru Shida hits Persephone from behind and then puts a submission hold on Persephone. The music of Kris Statlander hits, as she runs down to make the save. Shida leaves the ring with her kendo stick. Queen Aminata then hits the ring, followed by Harley Cameron.


Mistico & “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese)

Back from the break, Mistico and Mike Bailey are out first. The Premier Athletes are already at ringside.

Nese and Bailey start off first. Nese is taken down and then Ariya distracts Bailey, who is taken down by Nese. Bailey and Mistico take down the Athletes, sending them to the outside. Ariya spikes Bailey on the floor…the action goes back into the ring. The Athletes double team Bailey and then take down Mistico. Nese covers Bailey, but Mistico makes the save. Mistico then takes on both of the Premier Athletes and then sends then to the floor. Bailey and Mistico run the ropes and leaps over the ropes, taking down the Athletes. Airya levels Bailey with a huge lariat. Bailey comes back with a leg sweep on Nese. Mistico comes off with a big cross body, into a flying head scissors on Nese, grabs his arm, bends it back, as Nese taps out.

Winner: Mistico & “Speedall” Mike Bailey via Submission.

Jake Doyle vs. Adam Priest

The bell rings, as we are underway. Priest tries to hype up the fans. Both men lock up, as Doyle pushes down Priest. Both men lock up, as Doyle again pushes Priest down. Priest then does push ups in the ring, trying to get the fans fired up. Doyle tosses Priest across the ring. Doyle picks up Priest and again tosses him across the ring. Doyle grabs Priest, as he tries to fight back. Doyle runs the rope and takes down Priest, who then gets him and drop kicks Doyle, who gets up and drops Priest with a big body drop.

Back from the break, Priest works on the right arm of Doyle. Priest connects with a big elbow on Doyle. Doyle steps on the foot of Priest. Doyle tries to pick up Priest, but he turns into an armbar on Doyle. Doyle rolls up Priest and picks him up and slams him down. Both men are down, as the ref starts the ten count. Doyle is up. He kicks Priest. Priest gut wretches Doyle and then spikes him with a DDT. Priest covers Doyle for only a two count. Priest is up on the top rope. He comes down and is met with a big right hand by Doyle! Doyle picks up Priest, but Priest rolls up Doyle for a two count. Doyle then picks up Priest for the into the void and gets the pin.

Athena and Mone’ go after Hyan and Maya, but they duck. Hyan and Maya double team Mone’ and Athena. Hyan hits Mone’ with a cannonball. Athena and Mone’ goe to teh floor. Hyan and Maya run the ropes, landing on Athena and Mone’ on the floor. Action is back in the ring…Maya is taken down by Mone’ from behind. Athena and Mone’ work on Maya on the floor, sending her head first into the ring apron. Mone’s rolls Maya back in the ring. Athena is tagged in. Athena and Mone’ double suplex World. Athena covers her for only a two count. Mone’ is tagged in. She snaps down Maya and applies a headlock. Maya gets out of the hold and drop kicks Mone’, then covers her for only a two count. Mone’ picks up World who escapes the hold. Hyan is tagged in. He takes down Athena then hits a high boot on Mone’. Athena does a blind tag. Mone’ holds Hyan on the apron, as Athena then powerbombs Hyan on the ring apron. Mone’ then drops World head first on the apron.

Back from the break, Mone’ connects with a backstabber on Hyan and covers her for only a two count. Athena and Mone’ double team Hyan. Athena covers Hyan for only a two count. Mone’s is tagged in. Mone’s suplexes Hyan and hangs on for another, as the fans chant ‘Eddie.’ Hyan then rolls up Mone’ for only a two count. Hyan is tossed to the corner. Mone’s runs at Hyan, who moves out of the way. Mone grabs Hyan who is able to tag in World! He takes down Mone’, then drop kicks Athena. World double stomps on the mid section of Athena and covers her for only a two count. World is up on the second rope. Mone’s pulls down World, as Athena sweeps the leg. Mone’ hits World with a backstabber. All the women are down. The fans chant ‘this is awesome.’ Mone’ and World exchange blows in the ring. World hits a back elbow on Mone’. Athena blind tags in. World drops Mone’ with a cutter. Athena then suplexes World. Hyan comes in with a big knee strike on Athena! All four women are down! Hyan is tagged back in. Hyan picks up Athena. Mone’ pulls World to the floor. Mone’ has World in the statement maker on the floor. Athena then connects with the O-Face on Hyan and covers her for the win.

Winner: Mercedes Mone & Athena via Pinfall.

After the match, Athena and Mone’s attack Hyan as Mone’ puts the statement maker on Hyan. World comes in to make the save, kicking Athena and then sending Mone’ to the floor.

World checks on Hyan as the show goes off the air.
