Marcus Mathers & Chazz “Starboy” Hall Pulled from PRODUCE Volume 2 Event Due to WWE “Contractual Obligations” Issues

Orange Crush’s PRODUCE announced that they have pulled WWE ID and WWE EVOLVE talents Marcus Mathers and Chazz “Starboy” Hall from their upcoming PRODUCE Volume 2: Taigastyle event on July 16 in Jersey, New Jersey due to contractual obligation-related issues with WWE.

“Marcus Mathers will no longer be appearing at PRODUCE: Volume 2.

We wish Marcus the best of luck on his journey to WWE.

A replacement will be named.”

“Chazz “Starboy” Hall will no longer be competing on PRODUCE: Volume 2 due to obligations to WWE’s Independent Development program.

A replacement will be named shortly.”

In a follow-up announcement, PRODUCE issued a warning to indies talents informing them that if they cancel their existing bookings with the company and are not full-time contracted talent for another company, all future booking opportunities with them will be terminated as a result.

“If you cancel an existing booking with PRODUCE for another independent contractor gig that isn’t a full time contract, all future bookings will be terminated.”

This is the fifth time since this past June that WWE had WWE ID talents pulled from indies bookings due to contractual obligations issues and the third time Hall was pulled from a scheduled indies booking.
