AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Wednesday at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.
This taping featured Kyle Fletcher competing in a singles match against EL Phantasmo to close out the tapings. This match was notable for Fletcher suffering a potential injury following a spot involving him and ELP accidentally falling off the turnbuckle and needing some time to recover. This quickly led to those in attendance believing that Fletcher had suffered a potential injury.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that while it had appeared that Fletcher might have been injured during his match, those spoken to within AEW stated that Fletcher was feeling fine.
Alvarez reported that those spoken to stated that they believe that Fletcher was just dealing with dehydration issues.
“Although multiple fans reported tonight that Kyle Fletcher appeared to have been injured doing his match on Collision, we’ve been told he appears to be fine. And it was likely just dehydration.“
