To kick things off, Nemeth (Ryan, not the good one) came down to the ring. He took a moment to introduce his big brother, newly crowned TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth.
Nic grabbed a mic and talked about his “body count.” Ryan then pulled out a scroll that had all the names of people that Nic has beaten. The likes of Randy Orton, Ultimo Dragon, Kane, Cody Rhodes and Jeff Hardy were shouted out. Samoa Joe. Matt Cardona, Zack Ryder and all of John Morrison’s alter-egos were also included.
But then, as tends to happen, Nic was interrupted by KC Navarro. Navarro was called a “pink-haired goofball” by Ryan. Navarro tried to talk to Nic, but Ryan wouldn’t get out of the way, so Nic, being the voice of reason, booked a match between the two because he can do that. He said that he was going to go to the back and make KC vs Ryan official.
Before that though, Nic reiterated that he is the best wrestler in the world and he dared anyone to challenge him.
Backstage: Leon Slater

One good talking segment deserves another, so Leon Slater was interviewed in the back. Slater is facing Eddie Edwards tonight. Leon said he wasn’t done with Cedric Alexander yet, but needs to beat Edwards tonight to get back on the path to the X Title.
Slater called Edwards a disgusting pig of a human after what he did to Moose’s family at Slammiversary. Slater said he was going to knock scum like Edwards out of action on his way to the X Division Title.

Mara Sade vs. Tasha Steelz

At Slammiversary it was announced that there would be a 16-woman tournament for the newly created TNA Knockouts Television Championship. This would be the first match in that tournament and I love the idea of a TV Title for the Knockouts to feud over, even if the belt looks like it was created in Canva.
Steelz and Sade met each other off the bell with Sade trying to get the quick win with a backslide. Steelz kicked out though and went to the outside where Sade hit her with a baseball slide. She hit Steelz’ head off the apron a few times, but Steelz avoided being whipped into the stairs. Sade hit her with a leaping punch instead.
Back in the ring, Steelz took control, whipping Sade into the corner and hitting her with a knee to the face. Steelz then put Sade in an Accolade but Sade powered out. Steelz raked the eyes in response and hit a sit-out suplex for a two count.
Steelz went for a splash from the top, but Sade moved and she pancaked herself. Sade sent Steelz to the outside and hit a crossbody over the top rope. Sade threw Steelz back into the ring a pummelled her with strikes and a sling blade.
Sade stomped Steelz in the corner then dropped her with a sit out powerbomb. Steelz kicked out at two though. Steelz came back with a neckbreaker, then wrapped her up in the Rings of Steelz. Sade rolled it though into a cover though and Steelz kicked out at two.
Steelz came off the ropes right into a superkick, but recovered enough for a charge. Sade went up top and nailed a moonsault for the 1-2-3 to be the first to advance in the tournament.
Winner: Mara Sade via Pinfall.
As she was exiting, Sade ran into Mustafa Ali making a phone call. That’s it. That’s all he did.
Backstage: Rich Swann, BDE

Backstage, Rich Swann and BDE talked about being in the match to determine the #1 Contender to the X Division title. BDE mentioned that he’s never won a match in TNA (?) which made me wonder why he was getting a chance to be a title contender. But I digress, it was time for commercials!

The match started off with a brawl as expected leaving Elegance and Aichner in the ring. Aichner disposed of him and then hit a butterfly suplex off the top rope on Swanne. BDE tried a spingboard attack, but Aichner caught him. Hotch came in off the top and knocked them both down.
The Home Town Man put Hotch on his shoulders and sent him for an airplane spin, which also took out Aichner, Swann and BDE. Elegance then raked HTM’s eyes and BDE hit him with a triangle dropkick. On the outside, Elegance sent BDE into the ringpost while Swann hit a twisting moonsault into the field.
Swann went up top, but Elegance cuyt him off. Hotch came in and grabbed them both in a super double suplex that saw Swann land on Aichner. Hotch scrambled to cover anyone, but no dice. HTM went for a hometown slice, but Hotch countered it in time for Swann to hit him with a cutter. Elegance broke up the pin.
Elegance hit an Excuse Moi, but BDE hit him with a frog splash while he was down. That let Aichner grab BDE in a powerbomb to get the pin and become the #1 Contender to Cedric Alexander’s X Division Title.
Winner: Fabian Aichner via Pinfall.

— TNA Wrestling (@ThisIsTNA) July 3, 2026
Backstage, Ricky Sosa was heading to the ring when Expressions and AJ Francis approached him. They made a Boyz n’ The Hood joke (which is about the same level and age of relevancy as anything Francis does) and Sosa left them to head to the ring.
Backstage: Mustafa Ali, Order 4

Back from break, Mustafa Ali was yelling at Order 4. He said that he would get The Great Hands another shot at the tag titles, but they better win this time.
In-Ring: Ricky Sosa, The Righteous, The System, Leon Slater

Ricky Sosa then made his way to the ring and grabbed a mic. Sosa said that Slammiversary was a tough battle, but he won and stood tall like a man. He said beating Eric Young proves that he belongs in TNA and this is just the beginning. He’s heard what people say, but — then the Righteous arrived for reasons.
Dutch had a mic and said that they keep hearing about how great Sosa is, but potential isn’t everything. He said that he and Vincent reveal greatness. Vincent grabbed the mic and took credit for bringing out the best in the Hardys.
Vincent said that on his own, Sosa has limits. But with the Righteous, he would be limitless. They were interrupted by The System. Alicia Edwards had a mic and said that the only way Sosa will make a name for himself is if he rides (and possibly dies) with the System.
Edwards chimed in and continued the pitch to join the System. Vincent said that the System was offering only empty promises. Sosa then got between them all and said that he doesn’t want to join The Righteous OR The System.
Edwards clocked Sosa and started jawing at Vincent. Sosa came back and a brawl ensued. That brought out Leon Slater who was immediately taken out by The System. Sosa tried to help, but they fell victim to the damn numbers game.
Backstage: Elijah
The legend of @_Iam_Elijah_ still rings true – his music will never die. #TNAiMPACT pic.twitter.com/aPs3RP3nhw
— TNA Wrestling (@ThisIsTNA) July 3, 2026
Back from break, Elijah and his smokey light-up guitar talked about getting his Name, Image and Music back from AJ Francis. He sang that he’s got eyes on gold and then we moved to.
TNA Knockouts Television Championship Tournament First Round Match
Heather By Elegance vs. Allie

At Slammiversary, Allie and her partner Rosemary took the Knockouts Tag Titles from the Elegance Brand, so this is one half of a rematch of sorts kinda.
Heather jumped Allie from behind to start the match. She bounced Allie’s head off the turnbuckles, but Allie came back with a splash in the corner. Heather tried to escape the ring, but Allie ran around the ring and met her with a dropkick.
Back in the ring, Heather hit Allie with a series of strikes and then choked her on the ropes before hitting a meteora into the back of her head. Heather put on a headlock but Allie fought out of it. Heather went for a moonsault, but Allie moved and took control with some right hands.
Allie fired up and put Heather in the Upside Down for the required five count. Allie dragged Heather to the top but M and Rosemary had a tussle allowing Heather to get the upper hand and get a double stomp on Allie for the win.
Winner: Heather By Elegance via Pinfall.
Heather goes on to face Mara Sade who advanced earlier tonight.
In-Ring: Xia Brookside, Lei Ying Lee
.@TheLeiYingLee wants @XiaBrookside in a NO DQ REMATCH next week! #TNAiMPACT pic.twitter.com/grRtmDxz9q
— TNA Wrestling (@ThisIsTNA) July 3, 2026
Back from break, new TNA Knockouts Champion Xia Brookside made her way to the ring. She told the audience “I told you so” in regards to her winning the TNA Knockouts Championship. She said that the title belongs to her and that should be a warning to all the women in TNA.
That of course produced one of those women, former champion Lei Ying Lee. Lee said that Brookside had to cheat to win the title and isn’t a champion, she is a fake. Lee said that she wanted her rematch for the title next week on Impact.
Brookside went to hit her with the title and Lee ran her off and said that since Brookside likes weapons, how about No DQ? The music then hit, so I’ll just assume Brookside accepted.
Backstage: Mustafa Ali, Daria Rae

Backstage, Mustafa Ali approached Daria Rae and said he believed in the Great Hands and they should get a shot at the Tag titles next week on Impact. Rae, because she’s an excellent manager said, sure.
Ryan Nemeth vs. KC Navarro

If you recall, earlier in the evening TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth made this match for his little brother against Navarro, so they could “work this out of their system” whatever that means. Nic joined commentary for the match, so maybe we will find out.
Navarro started the match with a sling blade takedown for a two count. Navarro then ran roughshod until Ryan caught him with an uppercut and sent him out of the ring. After a brief exchange, Ryan sent Navarro back into the ring for some strikes and stomps.
Ryan resorted to hair-pulling and then put Navarro in a headlock. Navarro got out of it and delivered a leaping clothesline. He followed that up with an around the world DDT for a two count. Navarro went for a Blessing In Disguise, but Ryan dodged it and went for a neckbreaker. Navarro countered it into a dropkick and then landed the Blessing In Disguise to put Ryan away.
Winner: KC Navarro via Pinfall.
Nic said that he was glad they could put this behind them and got into the ring and made them shake hands. Navarro went for a hug but Nic countered it into a Danger Zone on Navarro from out of nowhere. The Nemeth Brothers then left and I think they might be bad guys.
Backstage: The Hardys
The Hardys plan to DELETE The Great Hands next week on #TNAiMPACT @MATTHARDYBRAND @JEFFHARDYBRAND pic.twitter.com/hgDIRotskE
— TNA Wrestling (@ThisIsTNA) July 3, 2026
Backstage, the Broken Hardys addressed their match next week against The Great Hands. They said it wasn’t a favor, it was a sacrifice. They then said that the “Die-Hardys” make them superhuman and they have the nuts and guts to accomplish anything.
Eddie Edwards vs. Leon Slater

Edwards and The System jumped Slater earlier in the program during a segment when they tried to recruit Ricky Sosa before the Righteous could and that’s a real sentence that I just typed. Alicia Edwards grabbed a mic before the match could start and called a bunch of teenagers in the front row losers for not cheering for Edwards. What transpired next could only be called a “cheer off” as Slater repeatedly proved the crowd liked cheering for him better.
After a break, the match started with Slater sending Edwards into the corner for some punches. Edwards poked him in the eye about it and then shot him off the ropes. Slater came back with a handspring back elbow and sent Edwards to the outside to dive on him.
Edwards got back in the ring and dodged a crossbody from Slater, sending him off the ropes and catching him in a back breaker. Edwards chopped Slater in the corner and then raked his chest to add insult to injury.
Edwards went up top for a moonsault, but Slater got out of the way. Slater started a comeback with a spin kick and flying crossbody for a two count. Edwards grabbed Slater from the top rope for a backpack stunner, but Slater kicked out at two.
Slater came back with a chin breaker and a pump kickm but Edwards cut him off with a powerbomb. Slater kicked out of that so Edwards hit a sit out powerbomb. Still, Slater wouldn’t go down. Slater countered a Boston Knee Party and went up top, but Alicial distracted the official and Cedric Alexander slid in to take him out. Edwards quickly made the pin to win the match.
Winner: Eddie Edwards via Pinfall.
After the match, Alexander and Edwards beat up Slater until Ricky Sosa arrived to even the odds. They ran off the System and posed as the show came to an end.
