Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 1,064,000 viewers on USA Network, down from the prior week show’s 1,204,000 viewers. That week’s show was notable for being a taped and not a live show and also for SmackDown returning as a weekly two-hour show.
It drew a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from the prior week’s 0.22 rating.
In terms of notable sports competition, the 2026 FIFA World Cup Playoffs game of Colombia vs. Ghana drew 10,386,000 viewers on FOX.
Last year’s SmackDown on July 4, 2025 drew 1,166,000 viewers and a 0.32 rating on USA Network. The July 5, 2024 episode drew 2,256,000 viewers on FOX.
