WE go live inside the venue as Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show from the commentary table. Tony and Nigel introduce a video package highlighting the world title match from this past Wednesday that saw Kenny Omega defeat MJF for the World Championship.


In-Ring: Hangman Adam Page

Back in the venue Tony Schiavone is in the ring, welcoming back Hangman Adam Page! Page’s music hits as he walks out and makes his way to the ring.

Page shakes the hand of Schiavone as we get welcome back chants. Tony says Page is back in AEW in his home state of Virginia. Page is handed the mic. He says he is gardener and lives on an acre in half in Greensboro. He talks about his plants and birds. He found it therapeutic to plant seeds and watch it become something beautiful. He has been gone 4 months and had a vasectomy. He says it was important to be here tonight. He says he wants to plant one more seeds tonight, not sure were it will go. He then talks about in March when he lost to MJF and can never challenge for the world title every again. He says in his life he tries to be man of his word. He says the stipulation does not live on a contract filed away and he intends to be a man of word. He will never challenge for the AEW World Title ever again. The fans start a big no chant. Page says it was important to him and see Omega win the title. Page says that he sees miles of empty track before him. He then calls out Kevin Knight, calling him a dips—, who has the TNT Title. He then calls out Mark Davis who has the National Championship, then calls out Jon Moxley who has Continental Championship. Page then mentions Kyle Fletcher who is the new International Championship. Page says we will find out who Hangman is without the World Title. Page says that he can hear all these words echoing that he will have to find something else to do and he will. Page gets a standing ovation, as he shakes the hand of Schiavone and leaves the ring. He interacts with fans at ringside before heading to the back.

ROH World Championship
Katsuyori Shibata vs. Bandido (c)

The bell rings, as we get an AEW chant. Both men lock up. We get a clean break off ropes. Both men lock up again, as Shibata pushes Bandido to the ropes. We get another clean break and a handshake. Shibata takes down Bandido. Shibata puts a headlock on Bandido. The ref checks on Bandido, as he breaks out of the hold, but Shibata puts a leg lock on Bandido. Shibata grabs the leg of Bandido, as the champ gets out of the hold. Shibata hits Bandido with a cheap shot, then both men exchange running pump kicks. Shibata covers Bandido, but the champ kicks out at two. Bandido comes off on Shibata with a big frog splash. The ref has his back turned to avoid getting hit by Bandido as Shibata hits him with a low-blow and then a kick, to send the champion to the floor.

Back from the break, Shibata and Bandido exchange blows. Bandido then hits Shibata with a backfist, as both men go down. Both men are on the apron. Shibata tries to get Bandido over the ropes, but then drops him on the apron, to the floor and then suplexes him. The ref starts the 20 count as in ROH its 20. Shibata rolls Bandido back in the ring and covers him for only a two count. Both men exchange chops. Bandido connects with a thrust kick on Shibata and then hoists him up and slams him down. Bandido comes off the top with a moonsault, landing on Shibata and covers him for a two count.

Shibata catches the right leg of Bandido and then connects with a running drop kick. Shibata covers the champion for only a two count. Bandido picks up Shibata and connects with a big knee. Bandido goes for a 21-plex, but Shibata blocks it. Both men take each other down. Bandido rolls up Shibata for a two count. Bandido is taken down by Shibata with a big running lariat! Bandido comes back with a big kick, but Shibata kicks Bandido. He comes back and rolls up Shibata for the three count.

Winner: Bandido via Pinfall to retain the ROH World Championship.

We go backstage with Renee Paquette speaking to Hikaru Shida and Harley Cameron, as Shida puts the TBS title on the line tonight against Cameron.

Back from the break, Lexy Nair speaks with Mike Bailey about his match tonight, challenging for the AEW National Champion.


TBS Championship
Harley Cameron vs. Hikaru Shida (c)

Before the bell rings, Shida attacks Harley. The bell rings, as Shida picks up Harley and slams her down and then covers her for a two count. Shida grabs Harley and spins her around and drops her. Harley holds onto the ropes and comes back grabbing the leg of Shida, who kicks Harley. Both women take turns going to the apron. Harley drops Shida and then connects with a running drop kick. Harley grabs Shida and drops her on the floor. Harley gets back in the ring to break the ten count and then goes after Shida on the rampway. Shida pokes Harley in the eye and drops her with a backbreaker. Shida then connects on Harley’s head with a running knee, as the action is still on the rampway.

Back from the break, the action is back in the ring. Cameron connects with a kick on Shida and hammers on the head of the champion. Harley then drops her with a sling blade like move. Harley then connects with a shining wizard. She covers Shida for only a two count. Shida is up and hits her in the side of the head. Shida bites the forehead of Harley. Both women take each other down. Harley then grabs the leg of the champion and bites her leg. Harley picks up Shida and slams her down. Harley only gets a two count. Harley locks in the half grab on Shida who grabs the leg of the referee, allowing her to grabs the rope to break the hold. Shida has an ankle lock on Harley, who fights it off. Harley kicks Shida in the head. Harley hits the ropes, as Shida connects with a big knee. Shida covers Cameron for a near fall. Shida ties up the arm and leg hooked, as Harley taps and then after the bell pounds on Harley.

Winner: Hikaru Shida via Submission to retain the TBS Championship.

Queen Aminata comes down to make the save, as Shida leaves the ring.


Backstage: The Lethal Twist, Matt Sydal, The Demand

We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Lethal Twist. Matt Sydal comes in and says for Lethal Twist joining The Demand is a bad decision. The Demand come in and interrupt. Sydal tells Ricochet he is bald and then takes off.


Backstage: Don Callis Family

Back from the break, we go backstage with the Don Callis Family. Kyle Fletcher talks about putting Takeshita in his rearview mirror…Fletcher talks about tonight’s title match with Mark Davis defending against Mike Bailey. Fletcher then speaks to Hangman Page about the titles he said he was coming after that are in the family. They address Darby Allin and he fears Trent Barretta. Fletcher says with Don not hear tonight, this is for Don and they run AEW.

In-Ring: The Conglomeration

Back in the venue, the World Trios Champions make their way out and down to the ring. Orange Cassidy then says they are still the champions. Cassidy says there is still one person in The Conglomeration that still wants to be a champion. The music of Willow Nightingale hits, as she makes her way down to the ring.

Willow has a mic. She says she missed the fans and loves them two. She then talks about her shoulder injury that caused her to relinquish the TBS Title and drop out of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. She then says it broke her heart not to participate in Double or Nothing. She says that she did not give up on her dreams. She says she was working at home on getting stronger, more motivated and more focused. She says she took the risk and rolled the dice with the Casino Gauntlet. She then says she has one more shot at Redemption and then addresses Thekla and Mercedes Mone’ taking her out at Beach Break. Willow says they both made a mistake…took her smile for weakness. Willow says for her the worst part of her career does not have to define it. Willow says that at Redemption she will carry the women’s title around her waste. Willow, with a backpack in hand, says she is walking out the Women’s World Champion and that Mercedes in the one she will face at All In.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match
Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, & Daniel Garcia) vs. Top Flight (Darrius & Dante Martin), AR Fox, & Komander

The bell rings, as Garcia and Darrius start off. Garcia takes down Darrius, who then comes back and picks up Garcia and takes him down. Darrius takes down Garcia, but he is back up and grabs the hair of Darrius. Garcia shoulder tackles Darrius. He comes back with a drop kick on Garcia and then an uppercut. Dante is in, as Top Flight double team Garcia. Dante covers Garcia for only a two count. Fox comes in. He takes down Garcia and covers him for a two count. Moxley is tagged in to a big ovation. Moxley takes down Fox, as we get a lets go Moxley chant. Komander is in. He comes off the ropes, caught by Claudio with a tilt a whirl. Yuta is in. Komander sends Claudio to the floor, as Yuta then hits Komader and pounds him. Komander then sends down Yuta with a tilt a whirl, that brings all eight men in the ring for a big brawl.

Back from the break, Yuta and Dante are in the ring. Yuta stomps on Dante and then applies a headlock. Dante is up and fights off Yuta, who goes to the floor. Claudio cuts off a possible tag. Garcia and Yuta stomp away on Dante on the floor…Komander walks the ropes, comes off the top, landing on the Death Riders on the floor. Fox is tagged in. He takes down Yuta and Garcia. The fans go crazy! Fox runs the ropes and goes over the top, taking out Garcia. He rolls Garcia in the ring. He then goes over the top, taking out Yuta on the floor. Fox comes off the top with a big moonsault on Garcia, but it hit from behind by Claudio and put in the giant swing. Top Flight double team Claudio, but Mox comes in. Top Flight send him to the floor. Dante dives through the ropes, landing on Mox. Garcia and Yuta double team Dante. Komander fights Garcia and Yuta in the ring. Garcia and Yuta send Komander out. Fox takes out Garcia and Yuta from behind…Fox misses a 360 as the Death Riders take turns with shots on Fox. Garcia puts the dragon tamer on Fox, then stomped by Moxley, as Garcia covers him for the win.

Winner: Death Riders via Pinfall.

After the match, Mox has a mic and says that was too easy, its Saturday night…Mox says they returned from Mexico City. Mox says who do they think will beat Will Ospreay at All In. Moxley says its the Death Riders against the world.


Backstage: Divine Dominion

We backstage with the Divine Dominion. They talk about how they are disgusted by the women’s tag team division and says for Sisters of Stupid (Sin) to keep carrying Thekla’s bags because they will never have the women’s tag titles.

Back from the break, vignette from Thekla. She addresses Mercedes Mone’ and then Willow Nightingale.

Brian Cage vs. Zachary Wentz

Back in the venue, Brian Cage comes out with Trent Barretta. Next up, the music of The Rascalz and Zachary Wentz is out with Myron Reed, who then heads to the back.

The bell rings as Wentz ducks Cage, then chops him. Cage fires back. Wentz runs the ropes, but is caught by Cage. Wentz sends Cage to the floor. Wentz kicks Cage in the head an then arm. Wentz comes off the top, landing on Cage on the floor. Wentz is sent to the apron. Cage sends Wentz into the steel steps. Cage picks up Wentz and sets him up on the apron. Cage tries for an outside in suplex and brings in Wentz.

Back from the break, Wentz kicks Cage, taking him down to this knees. Wentz connects with a spinning knee on Cage, covers him, but Cage kicks out at two. Wentz connects with kicks on Cage and then drops him with a twisting cutter. Wentz covers Cage, but he kicks out at two. Wentz is then taken down with a huge discus lariat by Cage. Cage picks up Wentz and drops him on his back. Cage picks up Wentz and drops him with a drill claw for the win.

Winner: Brian Cage via Pinfall.

After the match, Trent Barretta has a mic. He says that he challenges Darby Allin to a match and that Darby is not in the state. He asks the ref to raise his hand, that he needs a win. Darby’s music hits! Darby drop kicks Trent and Cage! The bell rings. Darby takes out Trent and then sends him into the barricade as Cage then confronts Allin. Cage takes down Allin. Allin recovers as we have an official match!


Trent Beretta vs. Darby Allin

Allin is up, as Cage distracts Allin, allowing Trent to take him down. Trent covers Darby for a two count. Allin puts a headlock on Trent. Allin runs the ropes and his then dropped by Trent. Allin is dropped with a running knee, as Trent covers Allin for a two count. We get a lets go Darby chant. Both men are up on the top rope. Allin sends Trent down. Allin then hits a coffin drop on Cage on the floor. Darby is then stomped by Trent as he comes back in the ring. Trent drops Darby on his head on ring apron. Trent covers Darby, but he won’t stay down! Darby kicks out at two.

Trent has Darby up on the top rope. Darby fights off Trent and digs his fingernails in the back of Trent. Darby drops Trent…Allin then hits Trent with a coffin drop for the win!

Winner: Darby Allin via Pinfall.

After the match, Cage hits the ring and drops Allin with three powerbombs! Mark Davis runs out. The music of Mike Bailey hits, as he runs to the ring with a chair.


Backstage: Willow Nightingale

We go backstage with Willow who then calls in Maya World who proposes a Trios Tag Match against Divine Dominion and Thekla on Dynamite.

Kyle Fletcher is on commentary for our main event of the night. Both men are in the ring and get introductions.

The bell rings as Bailey chops Davis and takes him down for a one count. Davis then picks up Bailey, but is met with chops and then punches by Bailey. Bailey kicks Davis, but he fights it off and then slams Bailey. Davis punches Bailey. Davis covers Bailey for a two count. Davis grabs the leg of Bailey and then bites his toes. Davis scoops up Bailey and sends him into the turnbuckle. Davis drops Bailey, but misses landing on Bailey, who comes back with a big drop kick on Davis. Bailey connects with a spin kick on Davis. Bailey connects with more kicks on Davis in the corner. Bailey connects with a running kick on Davis. Bailey kicks Davis again, this time in the head…Davis goes to the floor. Bailey connects with a moonsault by Bailey off the top. Fletcher cheers on Davis, as he hit with a kick. Both men are on the announce table. Davis powerbombs Bailey on the table.

-FULL AD BREAK (ON HBO MAX)-

Back from the break, the action is back in the ring, knocked down by Davis. Bailey holds on the ropes. Bailey tumbles through and kicks Davis. Bailey connects with a kick on Davis. Bailey then spin kicks Davis in the back of the head. We get an AEW chant. Both men are down. We go into an overrun! It past 10:00 pm ET…Bailey kicks Davis in the chest. Davis grabs the leg of Bailey, biting him in the toes. Bailey is in the corner as Davis charges, but Bailey moves out of the way. Bailey is up on the top rope. Bailey comes down with a huge 450! Bailey covers Davis, but he gets his hand on the bottom rope! The match goes on. Jake Doyle is out. It distracts Bailey…Davis drops Bailey on his head, as both men are down. Bailey rolls up Davis for a one count! Bailey rolls up Davis again, but for a two count. Bailey hits Davis with a spinning heel kick, covering Davis for a two count! Bailey hits Davis with a spin kick and misses the double knees. Both men are on the apron. Davis picks up Bailey, but he fires back with kicks to the chest. Bailey has the leg of Davis and misses with the double knees. Davis picks up Bailey and slams him on the apron. Bailey then rolls up Davis for a near fall. Davis then connects with lariat on Bailey, then drops him again and covers Bailey to get the win to retain.

Winner: Mark Davis via Pinfall to retain the AEW National Championship.

Jake Doyle, Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher celebrate in the ring, as Bailey is on the floor, while the ref checks on him. The show goes off the air.
