Chad Gable Wins #1 Contender Gauntlet Match, Gable vs. Penta for WWE Intercontinental Title Set for WWE SummerSlam 2026

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas featured Chad Gable winning a #1 Contender Gauntlet match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The order of entrants for this match were Dominik Mysterio, Joe Hendry, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Rusev, Gable, and “All Ego” Ethan Page.

The order of eliminations for this match were Hendry, Mysterio, Lee, Evans, Rusev, and Page.

As a result of his victory, Gable will be facing off against Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at this August’s SummerSlam 2026 event.

LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, & Royce Keys vs. The Bloodline 6-Man Tag Match Announced for SummerSlam 2026

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of SummerSlam 2026, which takes place on August 1-2 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, & Royce Keys vs. The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu & The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso)).

This new potential match was initially setup over recent months shows over Knight, Keys, and Sikoa’s bad blood issues with The Bloodline. During tonight’s show, Fatu ran out and attacked Keys during his singles match against Jimmy resulting in the referee calling for the bell. This led to a brawl breaking out involving Sikoa who first teased rejoining the Bloodline only to attack Jimmy and then Knight who ran out to save Keys and Sikoa. Knight grabbed a microphone and after some words, he issued a challenge to the Bloodline for a Six-Man Tag Team match at SummerSlam.

This match was later made official for the show.

Paul Heyman Leaves The Vision

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Paul Heyman officially leaving The Vision.

During the show, The Vision were seen walking in a happy mood backstage after their actions and attack on Alpha Academy’s Otis and Akira Tozawa. Heyman showed up and gave his praise of Austin Theory, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul. Heyman also gave his praise of Maxxine Durpi for what she did to Otis. Theory asked if Heyman is coming with them to celebrate. Heyman responded back stating that Dupri did such a great job, what do they need him for? Heyman then walked away teasing his departure from the group.

Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria Set for July 18 WWE SNME Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one new match announced for the card of the next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show on July 18 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

This new match announced was a singles match of Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Bayley and Valkyria’s issues with each other ever since Valkyria attacked Bayley and put an end to their tag team. During tonight’s show, Bayley came out to the ring and called of Valkyria to do the same, which she did. After some airing of the grievances from both, Bayley stated that she had a talk with RAW GM Adam Pearce and got a match against Valkyria for Saturday Night’s Main Event. This then lead to a brawl breaking out between the two that ended with Valkyria laying out Bayley.

Big Cass Vignette Airs Teasing August 3 WWE Return Date

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured a vignette teasing the upcoming return of Big Cass, former Big Bill in AEW.

During the show a video aired featuring Cass and teasing his official return to WWE being at the August 3rd WWE RAW show.

This will be Cass’ first appearance in WWE since June of 2018.

Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh in No DQ Match Set for July 18 WWE SNME Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured one newly updated match announced for the card of the next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show on July 18 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

This newly updated match announced was a No DQ match of Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh.

This newly updated match was setup following a ringside interview involving McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio.
