Lilian Garcia Fills In For Mike Rome as NXT Ring Announcer

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia filling in for Mike Rome as the ring announcer for the show.

Garcia had revealed on social media prior to the start of the show that she would be making a special return appearance to NXT.

Reina Volcan NXT In-Ring Debut Set for July 12 WWE NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured a video promo segment involving Reina Volcano announcing that she will be making her official in-ring debut for the NXT brand at next week’s show.

Lola Vice Wins Shot at NXT Women’s Title

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Lola Vice defeating Kali Armstrong and Kelani Jordan in a #1 Contender Triple Threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship.

As a result of her victory, Vice will be facing off against Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship at a future show.

Current Card for Next Week’s WWE NXT Show

Tuesday’s taped WWE NXT show also featured six new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on July 21 at Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Among the notable new matches announced was a NXT Championship match of Naraku vs. Tony D’Angelo (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage segment involving NXT GM Robert Stone and D’Angelo after D’Angelo had brawled with Naraku after Nakaru’s match against Tate Wilder earlier in the show. In a follow-up segment, NXT GM Robert Stone ran outside of the venue to break up a brawl between Naraku and D’Angelo and announced that their title match next week will now be held as a street fight.
