Scott D’Amore Comments on “Classy” Gesture He Received From Triple H After His TNA Firing

A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show podcast featured Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling owner Scott D’Amore as the guest. One of the topics discussed included D’Amore’s thoughts about WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque being one of the first people to contact him and ask him how he was feeling after his firing from TNA Wrestling in 2024.

“Actually, one of the very first people to text me when they posted the news … the first time I looked at my screen after it went public, the screen was full of messages, including one of them was Triple H. … Yeah, and it was just, ‘Are you okay?’ Which I think is a classy move.”

D’Amore also gave his thoughts about his visit to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando following his firing from TNA and getting to see a lot of his friends there.

“And as I was figuring out what that next step might be, I finally got a chance to go see the Performance Center in Orlando, because I have a lot of friends that work there, and I got a tour of the place, and it was awesome.”

D’Amore also gave his thoughts about how he had decided that he did not want wrestling to consume his entire life as TNA once had for the what he wanted to do for the future of his career in the wrestling industry.

“Ultimately, when I decided if I’m gonna do something in wrestling, what do I wanna do? I want it to be meaningful, I want it to be something I can be passionate about.”
