AEW reportedly drew an attendance of 7,107 for their Redemption event on July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that Redemption is currently estimated to have generated around 115,000 to 125,000 pay-per-view buys based on early numbers data and estimates.
Meltzer reported that Redemption is currently expected to have the lowest PPV buys for an AEW event this year. Meltzer also reported that the key reason is due to the streaming buys from HBO MAX and other streaming providers were down compared both this past June’s Forbidden Door 2026 event and this past May’s Dynasty 2026 event.
Meltzer speculated that Redemption could end up with a final PPV buys number similar to both this year’s Forbidden Door and Dynasty events due to other indicators trending better for the show.
Meltzer reported that despite the low early PPV buys numbers, Redemption did end up generating higher searches on Google for the day of the show than Forbidden Door 2026 did, which was up 41% domestically and up 25% worldwide.
