Max Caster AEW Contract Status Update

Max Caster has been absent from AEW since December of 2025 for non-injury related reasons. During his time away, Caster has been working in the indies primarily for Beyond Wrestling’s Wrestling Open.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Caster’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire this October.

It was reported that it is currently not known if Caster and AEW officials are discussing a potential new extension or a potential new deal.

Caster has been working for AEW since June of 2020 and has been signed with the company since November of 2020. During his time in AEW, Caster is a former one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion with Anthony Bowens and a one-time AEW World Trios Champion with Bowens and Billy Gunn.
