“Speedball” Mike Bailey Comments on Myron Reed Being One Of His Favorite Opponents

“Speedball” Mike Bailey recently released a new vlog on his official YouTube channel. One of the topics discussed included Bailey’s thoughts about his match against Myron Reed at this past Saturday’s AEW Collision show and how Reed has been one of his favorite opponents during his wrestling career.

“That was great. Defeated Myron Reed. Great match. Myron Reed, one of my favorite opponents. We had some great matches before we came to AEW, and this one was no exception. Fucking banger. Let’s go. So here’s what happened after, though. I went on camera to call my shot for next Wednesday to be MJF’s opponent in his qualifying match for the Casino Gauntlet Battle Royale number two spot, at All In, Wembley and then Nick Wayne came  and got in my face and said, ‘no me too,’ and I was like, ‘sure, why not?’ So next Wednesday, that’s gonna happen.”

Bailey also gave his thoughts about his match against Kyle Fletcher for the AEW International Championship at last week’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam 2026 show and how every time he gets close to winning a singles championship in AEW, it slips through his hands.

“I feel pretty bad. These are huge opportunities and I go out there and I give it my all every single time. I pour my heart and my soul into every single performance. I go out there, I sacrifice myself, and every time I get close to winning a championship, it just slips through my hands. I’m grateful for all the support, all the comments. Thank you so much for watching this match. Thank you for saying how much you enjoyed it. I’m glad to be able to put on good, entertaining performances every single time. That feels fantastic and that means the world to me, especially in Arena Mexico, the arena in the world that has the longest history, the most culture, that draws the loudest, most appreciative audiences in the world. Kyle Fletcher is undoubtedly not the- one of the best, if not the best professional wrestler in the world, and he has the championship, kudos to him for that. I am glad that Don Callis didn’t get involved. Like last time. But I’m sorry I couldn’t get it done.”

Kevin Nash Comments on Emotional Moment He Shared with Jim Ross Ahead of Ross’ Brain Surgery

As noted before, AEW commentator Jim Ross is currently scheduled to be undergoing brain surgery this Wednesday to deal with a health issue that has affected his memory since his recent lengthy hospital stay for an undisclosed medical issue.

A recent episode of the Kliq This podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Kevin Nash giving his thoughts about an emotional moment he recently had with Ross ahead of Ross’ upcoming brain surgery.

“I got to see JR Saturday night, I got to see JR and ‘The King’ and catch up with them. JR is going in for a procedure, so everybody out there, give a prayer for JR. It’s funny because, in my career, I always say that Vince [McMahon] was the first person that ever saw anything in me. And that’s wrong because when I first signed with WCW, Jim Ross had a sports show on the radio and he would have me in studio — maybe every couple months — but he would just have me in and we’d just talk sports and talk sh*t. He saw something in me, and I look at it as, I know that Jim carried a lot of weight at WCW early. And I think he kept me employed when it came down to making cuts, I’m sure a couple of times, the early years.

It was great to see him. It’s like, here’s King, JR, and Nash. And Jerry lost his son, JR lost his wife, and I lost my son. I just looked at them, I said, ‘JR, from all of the sh*t that the three of us have been through, it would have been so much easier to f***ing eat a bullet or at least a handful of f***ing pills to this point.’ I said, ‘But here it is, all of us four years into it, and we’re f***ing still wanting to live.’ And Jim says, ‘F*** yeah. I’m getting a f***ing [shunt] put into my f***ing brain.’ Like, ‘Yeah, I want to live.’ Life is so precious, and you don’t realize how precious it is until you get [near the end] — and I’m not talking about the back nine, I’m talking about when you can see the f***ing clubhouse.”

Andrade El Idolo Says He Will Be Out Of Action For “A Few Days Or Weeks” & MJF Responds

As noted before, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Mexico 2026 show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured MJF making a surprise return and ambush attacked Andrade El Idolo leaving him bloodied.

Andrade provided an update this past Sunday on Twitter stating that he hadn’t been feeling well since AEW’s show but he still did his scheduled two shows in Canada. Andrade also stated that his doctor had informed him that he will be out of action for around a few days to a few weeks.

“Hi everyone and especially Las Señoritas! I’ve just landed back in Miami, where I live, and I went straight to the DR. I hadn’t been feeling well since the Wednesday after the Grand Slam, but as a professional, I had two shows in Canada with MLP. I’ll keep you posted, but I have to be out of action for a few days or weeks. It’s nothing serious, Take care! but… I have one question?”

MJF responded on Twitter mocking Andrade and took credit for him being out of action for the near future.
