Court Bauer Confirms MLW In Talks with Tessa Blanchard

As noted before, Tessa Blanchard was granted her release and departed from TNA Wrestling this past June. Blanchard had revealed in a episode of the CMLL Informa show this past June that TNA had asked her to decide on if she wanted to continue working for them or CMLL and not both. Blanchard’s decision was believed to be influenced by CMLL paying her better and booking her more for shows compared to TNA.

A recent episode of the Who’s The Champ? podcast featured Major League Wrestling owner Court Bauer as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bauer confirming that Blanchard is currently in talks with his company for a potential contract.

“She’s been someone that has been in the mix since she became a free agent and people have been wondering about her in MLW. I can confirm. We are in talks with Tessa. That’s about all I can confirm at this point, but you know, she’s incredibly talented.”

While Blanchard has never worked for MLW in the past, Bauer had claimed that she was supposed to be part of the company’s relaunch in 2017 before plans were dropped due to scheduling-related issues at the time.
