Backstage Update on Chelsea Green’s Broken Orbital Bone Injury & WWE Women’s Title Status

As noted before, WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green suffered a broken orbital bone injury during her tag team match with Tiffany Stratton against Fatal Influence for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently remains optimistic about Green’s injury status.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that Green is currently not expected to be removed from television nor stripped of her WWE Women’s Championship while she recovers from her injury.
