Daga Offers Penta Membership in Perros del Mal & Penta Considers Potentially Joining
Saturday’s AAA TV show at the Coliseo Centenario in Torreon, Mexico featured Daga offering official membership to Penta to his Perros del Mal group.
During the show, Penta came out to the ring and talked about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender tournament and him being the one who will win it and face off against Roman Reigns for the title next month in Mexico City.
This led to Perros del Mal’s music playing to interrupt and Karmen Petrovic coming out first and followed by the rest of the group. Daga grabbed a microphone and talked about how Penta needs a family to back him up if he ends up facing Reigns because Reigns won’t be coming alone to Mexico City. After some more words, Daga handed Penta a Perros shirt and offered him membership in the group. Penta responded stating that he will think about it. As Penta was leaving, Daga told Penta that he has until the end of the show to make his official decision.

In a follow-up segment, Penta was seen backstage holding the Perros shirt that Daga had given to him earlier. This led to Perros showing up and Daga asking for an answer from Penta. Penta responded back talking about how much he respects Daga and Los Garza and how he needed to know everyone in Perros could watch his back and were worthy of being in the group. Penta stated that he did not want to be with any dead weight and looked at Bronco Nima. Nima gave an upset reaction and confronted Penta challenging him to a match at next week’s show. Nima stated that he will prove how dedicated he was to Perros and Penta accepted making the match official.

La Parka Advances in WWE World Heavyweight Title #1 Contender Tournament
Saturday’s AAA TV show also featured one First Round match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s tournament.
This match was La Parka defeating Psycho Clown.
During the match, Clown took off the turnbuckle leading to the referee getting distracted while he was putting the turnbuckle back on. This led to Clown sending La Parka into the referee knocking down both of them and the lights going off. When the lights came back on, the mystery masked person from last week’s show appeared and attacked Clown laying him out before leaving. This led to La Parka hitting a Bondebreaker to Clown as the referee recovered to count the pinfall victory for La Parka.

As a result of his victory, La Parka will be facing off against Penta in the Semifinal Round of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s tournament.
