FOX5 Las Vegas held a recent interview with Darby Allin. One of the topics discussed included Allin’s thoughts about him taking a thumbtacks to the face spot during the Death’s Door steel cage match between Team Briscoe and Team MJF at this past June’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 event.
“That’s pretty funny because I got married on a Saturday. Yes, I got married on a Saturday and Sunday was the show, no sleep, getting thrown face first into thumbtacks. No, no, I always rock the face paint. Yeah, that was my honeymoon was spent face down in the thumbtacks.”
Allin also gave his thoughts about if there were any buildings in Las Vegas that he would like to perform a stunt on and his choice being wanting to skateboard down The Sphere venue.
“Honestly, how it’s shaped, and I know it’s not a casino, but how it’s shaped, it would be fun to try to skateboard down The Sphere. Like, because that’s what I (do) I skateboard all the time and I would love if there was a way to do that, that you wouldn’t die. I would, yeah sign me up. Let me skateboard down the side with like a bungee cord attached to my back.”
