Thekla has been noticeably absent from AEW since losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Willow Nightingale at this past July’s Redemption event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that AEW officials currently have Thekla penciled in for their plans for All In 2026 based on every time he has asked. Sapp reported that AEW’s actual plans for Thekla at the event are currently not known.
In regards to her current abscense from AEW, Sapp stated that Thekla got red hot on AEW television this year and they need something valuable for her to do. Sapp also stated that AEW officials had plans involving Nightingale and Mercedes Mone for the AEW Women’s world title for quite some time but he believes it seemed forced to have Thekla lose the title when she did.
