Steven Borden, son of wrestling legend Sting, has been wrestling since his official in-ring debut this past October. Borden has been primarily working for AEW and competing in dark matches at AEW television tapings since this past December.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that the current belief by most backstage in AEW is that Borden is signed to an official contract with the company.
Sapp reported that Borden’s brother Garrett has also been training and working matches for his own pro wrestling career. Sapp also reported that it is currently not known if Garrett Borden is also currently signed to a contract with AEW.
Steven and Garrett Borden made their official debut appearances in wrestling for their father Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024 in March of 2024. Garrett portrayed Surfer Sting and Steven portrayed Wolfpac Sting for their father’s entrance and also got involved in their father’s tag team match with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at the event.
