Mustafa Ali Wins TNA International Title

Sunday’s TNA Lockdown 2026 event at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois featured Mustafa Ali defeating Jason Hotch in a Steel Cage match to become the new TNA International Champion.

This was Ali’s second TNA International Championship victory in his TNA career.

Leon Slater Wins TNA X-Division Title & Prevents His Previous Reign From Being Erased

Sunday’s TNA Lockdown 2026 event also featured Leon Slater defeating Cedric Alexander in a Last Man Standing match to become the new TNA X-Division Champion.

This match was notable for featuring the stipulation of if Slater lost, then his previous record tying X-Division title reign would be officially erased from the TNA record books.

This was Slater’s second TNA X-Division Championship victory in his TNA career.

The Nemeths Win TNA World Tag Titles

Sunday’s TNA Lockdown 2026 event also featured The Nemeths (Ryan & Nic Nemeth) defeating The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) in a Steel Cage match to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions.

This was the Nemeths second TNA World Tag Team Championship victory in their TNA careers.

Leon Slater Exercises Option C For TNA World Title Match at Bound For Glory 2026

Sunday’s TNA Lockdown 2026 also featured Leon Slater officially invoking Option C for a shot at the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth at Bound For Glory 2026 on October 11 in Tampa, Florida.

As a result of him invoking Option C, Slater relinquished his newly won TNA X-Division title as per terms of the stipulation.
