Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that TNA Wrestling has recently signed Joe Alonzo to an official contract with the company.
Alonzo was recently announced for a match at Sunday’s TNA Lockdown 2026 event in Chicago, Illinois that featured him defending his AAW Heavyweight Championship against The Home Town Man. This match featured the stipulation of if Alonzo won, then he would officially earn a contract with the company.
It was reported that those spoken to stated that Alonzo’s deal with TNA had been finalized by at least last week.
It was also reported that Alonzo had impressed TNA officials with his appearances for the company in recent months.
