Paige stated on Twitter that she was recently involved in a fan incident at an airport revolving around a wrestling merchandise scalper who was waiting for her at the boarding area and called out this person for their “weirdo behavior” towards her.
“Airport scalpers are morphing.. Had someone waiting for me as I was getting off the plane at the gate of my connecting flight with like 30 pictures.. I’m easy going with this stuff but pulling up to my gate is fucking weirdo behavior. Don’t do that.”
In response to a fan question about if this scalper had bought a ticket in order to bypass security and into the boarding area to wait for wrestlers arriving, Paige responded stating:
“Yes, exactly. It was my connecting so I wasn’t coming to baggage claim. He probably thought he could make that money back and more thinking I was gonna sign all those pics at my landing gate. He probably thought it was gonna be worth it. It wasn’t.”
Over the past year, several wrestlers and WWE Hall of Famers have gone public with their issues with fans getting to close to them and causing unwanted incidents that have turned physical in some occasions.
