Britt Baker Reflects on Her & Rebel’s Recent Visit To ALS Nexus In Orlando

As noted before, Rebel, real name Tanea Brooks, was diagnosed with terminal ALS amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) this pastMay. AEW has released a special “Rebel Heart” merchandise with 100% of the profits going to support those affected by ALS. Rebel became an ambassador for the I AM ALS organization this past June. AEW will be holding a special themed “Rebel Heart” episode of AEW Dynamite on September 9 in Athens, Georgia in honor of Rebel and to raise funds for the I AM ALS organization and Team Gleason.

Britt Baker reflected on Twitter about her and Rebel’s recent visit to the ALS Nexus in Orlando, Florida and how moving the event was to experience.

“What an incredible couple of days at ALS Nexus in Orlando. The strength, love, and sense of community in that room was something truly special. I don’t have the right words to explain how moving this event was to experience… but seeing so many awesome people come together to fight, advocate, educate, and remind everyone affected by ALS that they are never fighting alone.

@RebelTanea was obviously the star of the show. ⭐️💁🏻‍♀️❤️ She spoke at the conference and absolutely killed it! She is a rockstar in every way.

ALS has definitely changed a lot, but it hasn’t touched the things that make Rebel…Rebel. She’s the toughest cookie I know with the same kick ass attitude she’s always had…. with the same hilarious sense of humor and ability to make everyone around her laugh. A Rebel heart 🫶

Tony Khan Comments on Him Balancing AEW’s Stacked Roster With Adding Some Fresh Names To It & “Many Of The Best Wrestlers” Are Trying To Get In

The Metro held a recent interview with AEW CEO Tony Khan. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts about the balance of maintaining an already stacked roster in AEW while also trying to find the balance of adding some of the fresh and talented names in the wrestling industry.

Recently speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Khan opened up about the balance of maintaining his already stacked roster while also trying to find the balance of adding some of the fresh and talented names in the industry.

“There are so many great wrestlers around the world, and so many of the very best professional wrestlers compete in All Elite Wrestling. I always say AEW is where the best wrestle, and I really believe that. I think that the very best wrestlers in the world are competing in AEW right now.

It’s exciting that so many of the best wrestlers outside of the company are trying to get into AEW.”

Khan also gave his thoughts about AEW’s partnerships with CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling allowing their wrestlers to “compete in multiple promotions.”

Grado Competes In Dark Match at Aug. 26th AEW Tapings In Glasgow

AEW held a dark match prior to the start of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings at the OVO Hyrdo in Glasgow, Scotland.

This was Grado facing off against Nathan Cruz in a dark singles match, which was won by Cruz.

Grado came out to the ring to his “Like A Prayer” from Madonna for his entrance theme song at the tapings.
