Tatum Paxley Makes SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show on USA Network featured Tatum Paxley making her official main roster in-ring debut for the SmackDown brand.

Paxley faced off against Michin, which was won by Paxley.

Tatum Paxley, Charlotte Flair, & Alexa Bliss vs. B-Fab, Michin, & Jade Cargill Set for 9/6 WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event Show

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event show, which takes place on September 6 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

This new match announced was a Six-Woman Tag Team match of Tatum Paxley, Charlotte Flair, & Alexa Bliss vs. B-Fab, Michin, & Jade Cargill.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Paxley, Flair, & Bliss’ bad blood issues with Cargill and The Baddies. During tonight’s show, Paxley was interviewed by Jackie Redmond and after whispering a secret to her, Flair and Bliss showed up and informed Paxley that they will be facing off against Cargill’s team at Sunday Night’s Main Event show.

Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki’s New Tag Team Name Confirmed

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured WWE confirming Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki’s new tag team name of “Bakusai.”

This was revealed during a backstage segment involving SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, The Miz, and Kit Wilson after Aldis made a match for The Miz and Wilson for next week’s show against Nakamura and Kyoki and called them “Bakusai.”

AAA World Tag Titles Match Set for Sept. 11th WWE SmackDown Show in Mexico City

Friday’s taped WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match set for the card of the September 11th show at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.

This new match set was an AAA World Tag Team Championship match of R-Truth & Damian Priest vs. War Raiders (Ivar & Erik) (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage segment involving R-Truth, Priest, and the War Raiders. Priest told Truth how much he had enjoyed this past summer and teaming with him but felt it was time for them to go their separate ways so that he can focus on winning singles championships. Truth tried to get Priest to reconsider leading to the War Raiders showing up and mocking the two. This led to Truth issuing a challenge to the War Raiders for their AAA World Tag Team titles, which the War Raiders accepted and stated for it to take place in Mexico City. After the War Raiders left, Priest seemed reluctant at first but agreed to teaming up one more time.
