Zaria Wins WWE Speed Women’s Title & Unifies With NXT Women’s North American Title

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas featured Zaria defeating Kali Armstrong and Wren Sinclair in an Unification Triple Threat match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship and WWE Speed Women’s Championship.

This match featured Zaria winning the WWE Speed Women’s Championship from Sinclair and successfully defending her NXT Women’s North American Championship to officially unify the two titles.

The Vanity Project Wins NXT Tag Titles

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor) defeating Tavion Heights & Myles Borne to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

This was The Vanity Project’s second NXT Tag Team Championship victory in their NXT careers.

Karmen Petrovic Walks Out of Nattie’s Group After Perros del Mal Appears

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured Karmen Petrovic walking out of Nattie’s group.

During the Submission match between Jaida Parker and Nattie, Petrovic got up on the ring apron and distracted the referee while Nikkita Lyons grabbed and yanked down Parker’s hair. This led to Los Perros del Mal suddenly appearing standing on the stage and Petrovic quickly left Nikkita and Nattie to be back with her group in AAA as Lyons was angry over her leaving them high and dry before the match was over.

Kelani Jordan Wins NXT Women’s Title

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured Kelani Jordan defeating Kendal Grey to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

This was Jordan’s first ever NXT Women’s Championship victory in her NXT career.

NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 Date Announced

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured the announcement of this year’s NXT Halloween Havoc event will be taking place on Saturday, October 31 at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

It was also announced that this upcoming event will air live on The CW.

Jackson Drake Wins NXT North American Championship Title

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured Jackson Drake defeating Myles Borne to become the new NXT North American Champion.

This was Drake’s first ever NXT North American Championship victory in his NXT career.

Myles Borne Turns on Tavion Heights

Sunday’s WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured Myles Borne turning heel on Tavion Heights.

During the show, Borne and Heights lost their NXT Tag Team Championship to The Vanity Project’s Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor.

In a follow-up, Borne and Heights were seen backstage saddened over no longer being Tag Team Champions. Heights told Borne that they have to do whatever they can to keep the North American title around Borne’s waist and for him to even the score with Vanity Project.

Following Borne’s losing the NXT North American title to Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake, Heights tried to cheer up Borne over him no longer being a double champion only for Borne to lay out Heights with a Borne Again. Borne then left the ring frustrated over how things went for him at Heatwave.

Grayson Waller Wins NXT Title

Sunday’s NXT Heatwave 2026 event also featured Grayson Waller defeating Cruz Montana, Zilla Fatu, and Tony D’Angelo in a Fatal Four-way to become the new NXT Champion.
