Myles Borne Explains His Reason For Turning On Tavion Heights

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured Myles Borne explaining his reasons why he turned on and attacked Tavion Heights at NXT Heatwave 2026.

During the show, a video aired featured Borne inside his car talking about him losing the NXT North American Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship at Heatwave. Borne stated that he didn’t regret doing double duty at Heatwave and brought up how Tavion had been acting towards him in recent weeks. Borne talked about how Tavion had threatened him a couple of weeks ago about sending him several rows into the crowd if they lost the NXT Tag Team titles. Borne continued stating that he made the decision to get Tavion first before Tavion could do it to him.

In a follow-up segment, Heights was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber backstage for some words about Borne’s comments earlier. Heights responded stating that he felt hurt and betrayed about what Borne said and how he viewed him like a brother. This led to The Vanity Project showing up mocking Heights and setting up a NXT North American title match between Heights and Jackson Drake.

Creed Bros Makes Surprise NXT Return

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) making a surprise return to the NXT brand.

Following Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno’s victory over Shawn Legacy & Dorian Van Dux, Dar and Moreno’s victory celebration was quickly cut short after the Creed Bros. came out and attacked them laying both of them out.

This was the Creed Bros. first appearance in NXT since October of 2023.

Zaria Makes Decision & Retires WWE Speed Women’s Title, Robert Stone Announces WWE Speed Men’s Title Being Deactivated

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Unified NXT Women’s North American Champion and WWE Speed Women’s Champion Zaria making her official decision on which title she would be keeping going forward in NXT.

During the show, Zaria was seen backstage in NXT GM Robert Stone’s office. Stone asked her for which belt she was going to keep, which Zaria stated that she was relinquishing the WWE Speed Women’s title to officially retire it.

After Zaria left, Stone went up to Birthright who were also in his office and told Lexis King that as a result of Zaria’s decision, that meant that his WWE Speed Men’s Championship is now officially vacated and deactivated. King and the rest of Birthright were upset at the announcement at first before King relented and handed over the title.

Kendal Grey Suffers Vertigo & Out of Action For “Foreseeable Future”

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the announcement of Kendal Grey currently being out of action for the foreseeable future due to her suffering a vertigo injury during her NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT Heatwave 2026.

Zilla Fatu Turns Down Birthright Membership Offer

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Birthright attempting to recruit Zilla Fatu to their group.

Following Fatu’s victory over Tristan Angels in a singles match, Birthright’s Lexis King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, Charlie Dempsey, and Arianna Grace came out to the ring. King, Connors, and Dempsey tried to persuade Fatu to join their group since they would treat him like a real family and an equal unlike The Bloodline. Fatu responded rejecting the offer and superkicked King laying him out. The rest of Birthright attempted to get their hands on Fatu who quickly escaped out of the ring.
