Some Within WWE Post-Production Department Reportedly Feel “Handcuffed” By Netflix’s Censorship Practices of WWE RAW Shows

In recent months, Netflix has been releasing edited versions of Video On Demand replay versions of several WWE RAW shows and this past June’s WWE Night of Champions 2026 event due to blood and content-related issues. Netflix’s current censorship of WWE content has not included live broadcasts of WWE shows on their service. Most recently Netflix had aired a heavily edited broadcast of this past Monday’s taped WWE RAW show that featured The Usos and Solo Sikoa’s bloody faces and signs of blood being blurred out and Jacob Fatu’s promo segment being bleeped when he swore.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that some within WWE’s post-production department have felt “handcuffed” by Netflix’s restrictions following the censorship of recent WWE RAW shows.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE knew parameters would be in place for content allowed to air on their shows but some internally didn’t expect the restrictions to be as intensive as they have been for their shows of late.

It was reported that those within WWE felt that the uncensored version of the Royce Keys and OTM’s bloody beatdown of The Usos needed to be seen “as originally intended and designed” for the reason why it was later posted by the company on social media.
