As noted before, “Big” Bronson Reed has been out of action for WWE since this past February due to a distal bicep tear injury and surgery. Reed recently posted a photo on Twitter of his new muscular physique he has been working on while training for his in-ring return. WWE currently has plans for Reed to be presented as a main event-level heel when he returns from his injury. Reed’s return from injury is currently expected to be very close.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that some within WWE currently believe that Reed could be back with the company for the upcoming WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event show on September 6 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Those spoken to reportedly also stated that they also believe that Reed could return to the road full-time for the company starting with that event.
This upcoming Sunday Night’s Main Event show currently features Reed’s fellow The Vision stable member Bron Breakker facing off against Femi in a singles match.
