Deonna Purrazzo On Potential Future Match With Britt Baker Being ‘We’ve Wanted This For So Long’

As noted before, this past July’s AEW All In 2026 event at Wembley Stadium in London, England featured Britt Baker making her surprise return. Baker aligned with Persephone after costing Maya World the TBS Championship at the event. This was Baker’s first appearance in AEW since November of 2024.

AEW talent and ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo recently asked her fans on Twitter who they want to see Purrazzo face off in a Pure Rules dream match.

In response to a fan who posted a gif of Baker, Purrazzo responded back stating:

Purrazzo’s response was in reference to comments that she made during an interview with the Talk Is Jericho podcast in 2024 about how Baker had put her in contact with AEW CEO Tony Khan leading to her making her official debut and signing with the company in January of 2024.

“Britt Baker actually connected me with Tony Khan and we just got to talking and I knew the first Dynamite of the new year was going to be in Jersey, that’s where I’m from so I was like that would be a dream scenario, a dream come true if we could do that and it all worked out.“
